The Mont Blanc at this cake shop near the station is the pinnacle for me. The softness of the chestnut cream, the contrast with the whipped cream, and the bliss of having chestnuts both on top and inside - it's just perfect for me.

I bought some souvenirs and while I was at it, I also bought a dessert for home. There were croissants available, but I decided to try something different this time and got an apple tart instead. Tarts can be hit or miss, so I was a bit skeptical. I took a bite starting from the top with the apple, and wow, not only the sweetness of the apple but also a nice tartness! The flavor is distinct, not blurry, with a good balance of sweetness and depth. The tart crust has a rich buttery aroma and a perfect balance of crispiness and moistness, which is delicious too. Normally I don't feel like having tart again, but I might consider getting this one next time. It's so nice to have a cake that makes fruits taste so good. The size was just right, and I'd like to try other tarts as well.

This pastry shop also has a restaurant nearby. The shop has a classy feel to it, and they offer a variety of Western-style pastries and baked goods. I purchased a cookie and a galette for a total of 280 yen. The galette had a crispy and gentle texture, and it crumbled delicately. It was intricately made, with a buttery flavor and a subtle sweetness. It was a delicious baked treat.

Every year, it's a tradition to have a birthday cake. I usually buy a whole cake and also get some individual slices to enjoy. The showcase is filled with cakes in autumn colors, perfect for the fall season. It's hard to choose from all the delicious options, but this time I picked the Shine Muscat tart, the nut cake, and the usual viennoiserie. I tried a bite of each. The tart had fresh grapes that were in season, and it really captured the essence of autumn. The cream paired well with the grapes, creating a perfect balance. I loved that you could eat the skin of the grapes too. The nut cake, hazelnut I think, had a rich flavor with a strong nutty taste in the cream. The nuts on top added a nice crunch. The viennoiserie was as delicious as always. I can never get tired of this amazing taste. I was completely satisfied once again.

The cake shop was recommended to me by a colleague because it was close to work. It was a hot day, so I was unsure of what to choose, but I was drawn to the Rum Chocolat cake. Although I considered the popular cakes, I ended up choosing the Sicily because I have a weakness for pink desserts. The Rum Chocolat was delicious, it's a flavor I love. The Sicily was just the right amount of sweetness and very tasty. It was a light cake and easy to eat. It was on the smaller side, so I didn't feel guilty about finishing both cakes, even though I usually share. I hadn't eaten anything good for the past two days, so I couldn't resist eating both. I love the Rum Chocolat!

The macarons are very large and cost 280 yen each. Even if there was nothing that I particularly wanted, they quickly made and served it for me. They had about 15 different types of cakes. Since it was Father's Day, there was a cake with chocolate in the shape of a beard. I was happy to see that the Mont Blanc had a large chestnut in the middle. The prices were all under 500 yen, which was very affordable.

Valentine's Day was approaching and I was thinking about what to do, so I decided to just get a chocolate cake from the store. It was so crowded when I got there! Well, they were also selling chocolates, so I guess it's to be expected (;^_^A) I ended up buying a Valentine's Day limited edition cake that looked like a Viennoiseries and a chocolate cake. The chocolate cake was as delicious as always. The bitter and sweet taste of the chocolate, it's always amazing. But the Valentine's Day limited edition cake was even more impressive. The combination of bitter chocolate and the sweet and sourness of the berries was just perfect! The delicate balance that makes you feel impressed the moment you put it in your mouth. The heart-shaped design was also a nice touch. Whether something happens or not, Nobutique is always a place where you want to eat, and that's the truth.

After a leisurely stroll following lunch, I decided to stop by this shop to buy some sweets on the way back. Although it was past 4 pm, there were about 3 groups of customers inside. It seems to be a popular local shop. I purchased the following items since there weren't many options left: - Tart Mont Blanc: A Mont Blanc with a strong taste of liqueur. It's more geared towards adults, but the chestnut flavor didn't stand out much. - Shortcake: A well-balanced combination of fluffy sponge cake and whipped cream, with the acidity of the strawberries adding to the overall taste. A delicious cake. - Strawberry Tart: A tart with almond cream and whipped cream on a tart crust. The light and fluffy cream, along with plenty of strawberries, made for a delightful cake. It seems like their low-sugar cakes are popular too. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

My mother wanted to eat Mont Blanc, so I searched for a cake shop near my recently moved location in Kami-Itabashi. I found a shop that caught my eye and decided to visit. It is located a 1-2 minute walk from Tokiwadai Station, one station away from Kami-Itabashi Station. The shop has a small and stylish appearance. When I entered the shop, I noticed the showcase, but since I visited in the evening, the cakes were already running low. I looked for the Mont Blanc I wanted, but it was sold out! So, I ended up buying the most basic Strawberry Shortcake and took it home. The cream was light and smooth, with a subtly sweet and flavorful taste. The sponge was a bit coarse in texture. Overall, it was delicious.

It was around 3:30 PM on a weekend when I visited this small shop with a narrow entrance. Inside, there were many types of sweets such as baked goods and cakes. I purchased the Tart Mont Blanc, the popular Viennois, and the Paris-Brest. The Viennois was rich and sweet with delicious chocolate. The Paris-Brest was filled with plenty of cream, making it feel like you were eating just cream, and it was also delicious. The Tart Mont Blanc had a mild chestnut flavor with a creamy center. The taste was elegant with a refined sweetness. With a wide variety of options available, choosing was a fun experience. The prices were also reasonable, just slightly over one coin.

Summer Station Series, Tokiwadai Station's structure + shop is one of the top station near patisseries in Tokyo without any traffic lights. The shop is fairly large with around 20 types of confectionery + baked goods + a distinctive feature of low-sugar confectionery, offering a wide range of products. Purchased items (tax included): - Orange Tart (540 yen) ☆×3.7 Composition: Orange + Custard Cream + Tart Crust The crispy tart crust has a strong texture, although it may lack a bit of richness in butter. The cream and custard are easily recognizable in taste, with the orange adding a lightness with its sweetness and moisture. A straightforward and delicious tart without unnecessary twists. - Viennois (540 yen) ☆×3.7 Composition: Chocolate Glaze + Cream + Sponge The sponge with hazelnuts has a fragrant nutty aroma, while the cream is subtly flavored with walnut liqueur for a hint of depth. Despite a limited variety of components, the fragrance complexity makes it enjoyable and unique. - Exotic (540 yen) ☆×3.6 Composition: Tropical Mousse + Mango & Raspberry + Biscuit The tropical mousse has a slight acidity from fruits like pineapple and passion fruit, with a slightly firm texture due to a higher gelatin content. The mango and raspberry fruits lack moisture, resulting in a slightly dry texture. The taste is clear and distinctly tropical, which is appealing to those who enjoy tropical flavors. - Paris-Brest (432 yen) ☆×3.5 Composition: Choux Pastry + Praline Cream + Brulee The praline cream is subtly flavored and quickly melts in the mouth due to its low melting point. The addition of brulee inside balances the strong taste of the praline cream. The choux pastry has a firm and light texture, creating a good balance. - Sicily (486 yen) ☆×2.9 Composition: Raspberry Mousse + Pistachio Mousse + Dacquoise Both mousse types are solid, but the flavors of raspberry and pistachio are somewhat vague. The Dacquoise adds a distinct aroma, making it more prominent than the mousse. The overall taste is a bit lacking in depth and clarity. Overall, the shop offers reliable and comforting flavors with a focus on traditional Western confectionery. While not expecting much initially, the shop has established a sense of stability. Apart from the mousse, the items are enjoyable, and a revisit would be nice if given the opportunity.

This pastry shop, run by Chef Nobuhirotaka with a long history of winning confectionery competitions both domestically and internationally, has been involved in pastry making for over 30 years. Chef Nobuhirotaka trained at renowned shops such as "Canti" in Azabu and "Marmezone" in Seijo. He also served as the head confectioner at "La Mare de Chaya" and the Meiji Memorial Hall's "Kano no Mi no Mori". The shop offers a wide variety of cakes, low-sugar confections, and baked goods. Chef Nobuhirotaka learned about low-sugar theory from Dr. Yamada, the director of the Diabetes Center at Kitasato Research Hospital. On the day of the visit, Chef Nobuhirotaka was also present at the shop. Luckily, there were only 2 pieces left of the low-sugar cakes in the evening. The low-sugar chocolate cake (3g sugar) and low-sugar strawberry mousse (5g sugar) were purchased, along with several other cakes. Upon arriving home, the cakes were found to be intact and well-prepared. The chocolate cake was rich and delicious, while the low-sugar strawberry mousse was surprisingly high-quality. The chef's masterpiece, Viennois (a hazelnut-flavored crispy dough combined with walnut liqueur-scented cream chantilly and a glossy glaze), was visually stunning and tasted rich and melt-in-your-mouth. The favorite was the Japanese chestnut Mont Blanc, with its elegant sweetness and surprise chestnut filling. The mocha cake was also delicious. Those who live nearby are fortunate to have such a wonderful shop nearby.

I always buy Viennese pastries at the hall on anniversaries, but today I purchased the normal version for the first time in a while. And a chestnut Mont Blanc. It's a typical choice from Nobu Tique! The Viennese pastry, as always, has a rich chocolate coating and a collaboration of not too sweet but sweet cream that is amazing. The shape seems to have changed, doesn't it look bigger? Maybe it's an illusion... Somehow, the taste also seemed sweeter. Maybe it's because of the season. The chestnut Mont Blanc, as expected, the chestnut is the highlight. Compared to a regular Mont Blanc, it has a unique taste of chestnut that I like. This is truly Japanese. The smooth texture of the chestnut paste is cozy and comforting, creating a paradise in your mouth. It feels like the base has changed a bit, or maybe it hasn't changed at all... Is it slowly evolving, or is it my tongue's issue? A mystery. Well, it's truly a blessing to be able to savor the cakes here. I always receive hope to live from them.

I received a gift for White Day, and it seems that the chocolate cake I got is a limited edition for White Day (maybe even from Valentine's Day). It tasted like a slightly sweet and soft version of viennoiserie. The way the hearts were layered on the cake looked very stylish. I also tried a matcha shortcake which was quite unique with its green color. Inside, it had a cream sandwich with a subtle red bean flavor, which had the perfect level of sweetness. The combination of the slightly bitter matcha and the cream was exquisite. Additionally, I tried a low-sugar cake for the first time. There was a chocolate and raspberry flavor, and I chose the raspberry one this time. When I tried it, it tasted just as delicious as a regular cake. However, the sweetness from sugar was indeed lower, leaving a refreshing aftertaste. This is definitely worth trying. It would be a great option for those who are trying to reduce their sugar intake for various reasons.

I have been to this shop before and this is my second time here. The entrance of the shop gives off a cute vibe. Once inside, it feels like stepping into a fairy tale from Andersen with a candy house-like atmosphere. While everyone recommends the Mont Blanc, I personally prefer the pear tart. I love cakes made with liqueur or rum, but the Mont Blanc tart here is a bit too strong on the alcohol, which overpowers the chestnut flavor. However, the tart crust is crispy and has a rich buttery flavor, which is delicious. The pear tart has a rich flavor with the scent of almond powder. I might prefer fruit on a sturdy crust like this rather than custard lately. It was very delicious. The Madeleine is not to my taste, but it seems like it would be popular with others. I wonder if there are more varieties if I had come earlier? I would like to try more tarts!

I made a reservation for a Christmas cake again this year and enjoyed it on Christmas Eve. This time, I had a cake with a fulliere, cheesecake, and strawberry jelly on top. When I tried to cut it, I felt a strange resistance. It was actually frozen. I wonder if it got frozen during storage at the store? It hadn't been that long since I brought it home... This was a first for me, but it was still delicious! The cheesecake wasn't too sweet, and the strawberry jelly was pleasantly sweet and sour. The pistachio base was also a perfect match as always. The cream was delicious too. It felt like I was eating an ice cake, which made me happy. I also purchased a birthday cake here, a Viennois, because I found out last year that it comes with macarons when you buy a whole cake. The chocolate was slightly melted when I ate it. The rich, moist dark chocolate was luxurious. Consistently delicious. Every bite made me say, "I'm glad to be alive."

Tokiwadai Station. For me, this area feels quite unfamiliar, but there was a patisserie that caught my eye, so I decided to visit. The owner-patisserie trained at "Canti" and "Maison Marmezon" before going to France. After returning to Japan, they worked at "Mare de Chaya" and the Meiji Memorial Hall before starting their own shop here, which has been open for 10 years. The facade has a French-like appearance. Inside, the showcase is filled with fresh cakes and a variety of baked goods. On this day, I purchased: 1. Japanese chestnut Mont Blanc for 500 yen, with a whole large Japanese chestnut inside. 2. Mont Blanc tart for 480 yen, finished with French chestnut cream. The texture of the tart crust was excellent and this was my favorite. 3. Cafe Noir (3 pieces) for 220 yen. 4. Breton galette for 220 yen, made with honey for a rich flavor and a crispy texture. 5. Honey hazelnut (3 pieces) for 220 yen, carefully crafted with quality ingredients in a classic style that I appreciated. It was disappointing that the shop staff's customer service was a bit cold and gave off a sense of discomfort.

I searched for cakes in Tokiwadai and found this shop with high ratings, so I decided to give it a try. All the cakes looked delicious and I had a hard time choosing. This time, I picked two that I was curious about - a rich Mont Blanc and a refreshing cheesecake. Both were delicious! I recommend you all to try them out.

Tokyo, Itabashi-ku, Tokiwadai (1 minute walk from Tokiwadai Station)ーーーーーー【Menu】Excluding tax Tart Mont Blanc 480 yen (A rich Mont Blanc made with fresh cream and French chestnut cream on a tart) A unique shape of Mont Blanc that looks like a cut roll cake. The chestnut cream around it has a strong alcohol flavor, which gives it an adult taste. The aroma that smoothly comes out when you smell it seems addictive!! The slightly sweet whipped cream and the sweetened chestnuts inside provide a satisfyingly thick tart.ーーーーーーHalf-baked pudding 350 yen (A popular pudding with a smooth and creamy texture that feels like drinking a calm soup) A half-baked pudding with a smooth and creamy texture that makes the whipped cream on top feel firmer. The texture is superb! Not too bitter, not too sweet caramel sauce adds sweetness and ties everything together. Despite its weight, it disappears in no time.ーーーーーーI stopped by this shop on my way back from work! It was just before closing time, but they still had the cakes I wanted to buy! The Mont Blanc was good, but the smoothness of the half-baked pudding was amazing! I also became interested in the half-baked cheesecake, so I would like to try it next time. Thank you for the meal!!

When I called, I was told that cakes were being sold, so I quickly made a purchase. It was a small anniversary, so I got the chocolate and chestnut flavors. The taste was as wonderful as always. The chocolate from Viennois is smooth and deep, even though it's not their specialty. The collaboration with the bottom crust is amazing. The chestnut had two different types of chestnuts, so you can enjoy the different flavors and textures. The elegant cream also goes well with it. I once again savored the happiness of being able to taste the familiar flavors.

On my pet (parakeet)'s birthday, we celebrated with a cake (lol). It's already late February and there are spring products available. This time, I had a cherry blossom flavored cake. I forgot the name of the product, but it was delicious. The outside was chewy, with a taste similar to cherry blossom mochi. When you eat the sponge inside, it balances well and makes you want to have it with green tea. This is my first cherry blossom flavor of the season. Ah, I can't wait for spring!
