On Friday night, I ordered water kimchi potato salad, assorted sashimi, pickles, nukazuke, fried chicken, and hamburger with two types of Japanese sake. The potato salad, pickles, and myoga were very sour. The hamburger seemed to be reheated frozen food, and the fried chicken had a noticeable smell of reused oil. Overall, nothing was very delicious, so I will not be returning.

There was a restaurant near Gotanda Station that I had been curious about. I always thought it must be delicious based on my food senses, but I never went because I couldn't see inside and it seemed a bit intimidating to enter. However, one day as I was walking by, I saw a sign outside that said "You don't need to drink alcohol to enjoy our set meals!" which caught my attention, so I decided to go in. The interior of the restaurant was quite compact, with only 5 counter seats and 2 tables for 2 people each, meaning only up to 3 people could sit together. I sat at one of the 2-person counter seats in the back. I enjoyed dishes like parent bird grilled skewers, seki hot pot, sesame-dressed mushrooms and vegetables, and young chicken tempura. In the end, I couldn't resist and ended up having some sake. I tried the Kitasho (lightly cloudy) and Hiyaoroshi (autumn release), both of which were delicious! The sake menu here is so extensive that it's overwhelming, so I would like to go back again and enjoy sake leisurely!
