This time, I purchased a Halloween limited edition box with two mini Baumkuchens. If you're buying for personal consumption, the regular version is about 100 yen cheaper and just as good. When I tried it at home, I found that the baumkuchen had a sugar coating on the outside, giving it a crispy texture, while the inside was fluffy and the sweetness was just right. So, after some contemplation, I ended up buying a small size of the following item:✦ Cut Baum - 550 yen (excluding tax)It wasn't freshly made, but it was cut and still fresh, so I was advised to consume it on the same day. I enjoyed it with a cup of coffee - the outside had a slight sugar-coated texture, while the inside was a fluffy Baum with a mild sweetness. It was really delicious! Even though it had been a while since I last had it, I regretted not buying a larger piece. It tasted even better than I remembered. I will try to resist the urge to buy more until my next visit. The combination of the Baum and a strong black coffee was perfect.
