I received a gift from someone in the past and thought it was delicious when I ate it, so I kept the light blue shopper bag. I had been to Mitsukoshi many times, but I always forgot to buy it, and this time I was able to stop by without forgetting. It seems that there are three types: mild sweetness, sweet, and something inside. Since there was nothing inside, I decided to buy the mild sweetness one. When I ate it at home, it was delicious as expected. I have also tried Pierre Marcolini before, but I prefer this one. Inside the box, there was a silver bag, which I don't remember seeing when I received it before. Maybe the different sizes come in bags that are not silver? The outside is sprinkled with cocoa powder, and the texture is slightly soft, with a slight salty aftertaste. Maybe I'll try a different one next time. Thank you for the meal.

Back when I used to frequent the department store basement for sweets, I always saw Satie's chocolates being generously offered for tasting. The chocolates were delicious, and it was clear that they were selling well. I recently tried Satie's chocolates again after a long time. The Chapeau Chocolat is a chunky rock-shaped chocolate. When refrigerated, it has a refreshing coolness, a nice bitterness, and the melting sensation is amazing. I would rate it 9 out of 10. The Crispy Chocolat has crepe dough crunches inside the chocolate. I personally prefer the pure chocolate flavor of the Chapeau Chocolat. Both chocolates can be microwaved to slightly melt and enhance their creaminess. Both chocolates tasted much better than when I used to sample them before, and I was pleasantly surprised. The melt-in-your-mouth texture remains excellent, and the taste is just as good, if not better. I wonder if it's because of the individually wrapped packaging, the improved quality, or if it's just my imagination.

First visit 202201 (No.3322) On the day, I visited this shop in the Ginza area to gather material for my blog, specifically looking for chocolate-related content. This shop is operated by "Saty Co., Ltd." established in 1996, specializing in French chocolates, with a total of 4 stores in Japan. I have already purchased the collaboration product with Sanrio called "Saty Photo Chocolate" at the Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi main store, so this time I purchased the following product: Corsé Chocolat (70g) 1512 yen. Santo Me Island, a small island in the Gulf of Guinea in West Africa, is known as the "Chocolate Island" due to its fertile land suitable for cocoa cultivation. This chocolate is made by blending several selected cocoa beans including Santo Me cocoa, and it has a rich and flavorful taste. Thank you for the meal.

It's a gift. The chocolate has a very nice melt-in-your-mouth texture. The size is just right for the melt-in-your-mouth experience. I was surprised that the rating on Tabelog was lower than I expected. It's simple, but that's what makes it have a satisfying texture that doesn't get boring. Thank you for the meal.

After having lunch in February and celebrating a birthday, I stopped by this restaurant on the way back. We hadn't seen each other for a while due to the pandemic, so we had a chance to catch up. My friend mentioned that she was planning to buy the chocolate from this place as a reward for herself, so I decided to try it out on the weekend before Valentine's Day, despite the crowd. When I got home, I quietly opened the box. My daughter immediately peeked inside and took a bite! I also tried it. It was delicious! Good chocolate is truly delicate and has a nice aroma. I thought it would be a waste to eat it all, so I decided to save some for the next day. I gave one to my husband so that we could enjoy it peacefully on a weekday. My daughter wanted another piece, so she started doing chores and studying to earn it. She asked if we could split the last piece, but I hesitated. "It will melt! How long are you going to stare at it? Just eat it already," my husband said. I wanted to taste it and share it with my daughter before she lost interest, so I decided to cherish the time with her. Eventually, I ended up giving her the last piece and enjoyed the dessert alone for the next two days. That's why my daughter is growing up to be strong, as you can imagine.

I bought a seasonal limited edition Japanese chocolate because I love matcha. It cost 2,000 yen for 100g, which was quite expensive. It came in a wooden box with nice wrapping. When I opened the box, it was in a silver bag. I couldn't see much matcha in it, but when I tried it, it turned out to be truffles coated with matcha. I thought it was hard when I took it out of the fridge, but then I saw that it should be brought to room temperature before eating. After letting it warm up, I enjoyed the smooth melting texture! I was expecting matcha chocolate, so I was a little disappointed, but it was delicious as a fresh chocolate.

I received it as a gift from a customer and it was so delicious that I came to buy more. It is located near Mitsukoshi Ginza. It all started from a café in Nagoya in 1996 that served coffee as a service. These chocolates are made in France. They have limited edition chocolates especially for Valentine's Day. The Chapeau Chocolat is a classic here, so it is recommended to start with this one. The Concessi Chocolat blends several selected cocoa beans, such as Chocolate Island and Sao Tome Cacao, giving it a rich and mature taste. The Crispy Chocolat has crepe dough mixed in, providing a enjoyable texture. The Truffe Chocolat is irresistible with its crispy texture. The Koi no Teppou Dama has the same premium cocoa as Chapeau, but in small pearls, making it popular among women. The stylish packaging also makes it a great gift. Although it is a bit pricey, it is perfect as a treat for yourself. Thank you for the meal.

At Ginza Station, in the basement 2nd floor of Ginza Mitsukoshi, there is a chocolate shop. My family asked me to buy a chocolate cake if I was in Ginza, so I searched for it. What caught my eye was this chocolate. I tried a sample and it was incredibly smooth and melted in my mouth. It was delicious chocolate. They said they don't use cream or alcohol.

I went to buy Ecole de Chocolat, and although they had the 100g box, the 50g one I wanted was sold out. It seems to be a popular item and is often sold out, making it hard to buy. Since I have tried the most popular Chapeau Chocolat before, I decided to buy Conch Chocolat today. The truffle chocolate inside, wrapped in bitter chocolate, is sweet and bitter, and delicious.

I purchased some chocolates from a chocolate shop located in Mitsukoshi's Ginza and Nihonbashi stores, a little after 6 pm on Sunday, February 3, 2019. I have been using the Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi store more often in recent years due to its convenient location. During the Valentine's Day season, I buy chocolates as a treat for myself. My mother and I enjoy it every year. I bought a box of "Love Bullet" chocolates, which cost 4104 yen for 40g x 290g x 1150g x 1. This time, I forgot to buy the "Chapeau". The store also has a booth at the 2019 Valentine Fair on the 7th floor of Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi, making it easy to use the Nihonbashi store. The chocolates are from a French chocolate shop that I fell in love with 11.2 years ago when they had a tasting event at Tokyo Station. They are very generous with their tastings. The chocolates have a smooth melt-in-your-mouth texture and are surprisingly reasonably priced. They are prone to melting, so it's best to store them in a cool place or refrigerate them. The "Love Bullet" chocolates are sold by weight and are the size of the first joint of a pinky finger, providing a satisfying feeling. They are dusted with cocoa powder, which pairs well with the chocolate and gives it a taste that goes well with liquor. I believe they were only available for sale on weekends at the Mitsukoshi stores. During the Valentine's season, they seem to be available for purchase even on regular days. I only buy them in February, so my memory is a bit fuzzy. The "Chapeau" chocolates come in a box of 5 and are sold individually, allowing you to enjoy small pieces of chocolate. You could easily finish 10 of them. The "Eiffel Tower Chocolate" has a very bitter finish (apparently my mother's favorite). You can also purchase them online, where you can see photos of the products. However, I recommend going to the department store and trying the samples. I love sampling chocolates at department stores during this time of year. It's easier to sample when it's crowded. Plus, in the city, you might get to see famous pastry chefs in person on the 14th. Regarding my Valentine's situation with male staff members from my temp job to my current workplace... Many male staff members seem to have little interest in women's efforts in giving chocolates. Those who are married usually give a return gift from their "pocket money," while gifts given to a group with the message "Please share with everyone" usually don't come with any return gifts. It's the same as handling workplace souvenirs. I haven't seen many male staff members who give thoughtful responses (with good taste in sweets). In conclusion, for obligatory gifts, I decided that it's okay to go with decent arranged sweets. Giving fancy chocolates doesn't elicit much of a reaction. It might be more appreciated to give snacks or other types of treats that are not chocolate-related. There is no misunderstanding in that. High-end chocolates are best enjoyed by oneself (women giving to other women). So, putting effort into giving Valentine's chocolates to female friends might be more enjoyable.

I was recommended to try a sample, and I was surprised that it was quite delicious and reasonably priced, so I bought some as a souvenir. It was slightly light rather than rich, and it was tasty. It seems that it doesn't use heavy cream, so it seems gentle on the stomach.

This chocolate is really delicious. It's amazing that they don't use butter. It's a delicious chocolate that I love because it's light. Even people who don't like sweet things can enjoy this chocolate.

It's like Stettler's fresh chocolate made a little firmer and richer. But it's not too heavy, so you can eat it refreshingly. It's a delicious fresh chocolate with good cost performance.

For over 10 years, I have been giving "loving obligation chocolates" from this place to those I am grateful for or my family on Valentine's Day. And I always make sure to buy a box for myself as well. I love the simple taste of their fresh chocolates. Thank you for the delicious treat. Every year, I visit various shops during the Valentine's fair and try different chocolates, but I always end up buying a lot of "loving obligation chocolates" from this place. By the way, on Tabelog, it is written as 'Setie'. It's a mystery why it says 'Satie' on the back of the box.

There is a chocolate specialty store called Sati located in the basement of Mitsukoshi department store. The staff often offer samples for tasting, and I have purchased their chocolates a few times because of that. This time, I received some as a New Year's gift. The size is perfect for popping into your mouth, with a smooth melt and a good aftertaste. I enjoy eating it with coffee, and I think it is a very delicious chocolate. They also have a branch in Ginza Mitsukoshi, so if you haven't tried it yet, I recommend starting with a sample tasting.
