Kobe-ya is a bakery located inside the ticket gates of Kudanshita Station on the Tokyo Metro and Toei Subway lines. The shop may not have the most appealing appearance, but it is perfect for grabbing a delicious pastry and coffee before starting work. I visited on a holiday after attending a rakugo event near the station around 2:30 PM. I decided to stop by and picked a "Tartine" with sausage, paprika, zucchini, tomato, and cheese - a perfect match for alcohol. When I got home around 5 PM, I enjoyed the Tartine with a chuhai and added a bit of Tabasco for a spicy kick. The combination was excellent, with the ingredients complementing the alcohol well. I only bought one, but it was enough for a satisfying "bread and drink" session. This time, the choice of pastry was a hit.

I often saw it but had never been there before. I didn't have time, so I decided to try it out. It said "Sausage Fair," but I wonder what that means. It's not like sausage items are on sale, and the coarse sausage pie is a regular item, so it's not limited time or anything. I wish they accepted electronic money other than transportation cards. The sausage pie doesn't have any particular feature despite being emphasized as "juicy." The other almond danish-like pastry was delicious with just the right amount of sweetness and almond cream inside. It's a taste that makes you want to have it with coffee as a snack. The downside is that it makes your hands sticky. Thank you for the meal!

I bought the bean bread from Kobe-ya. It is a Danish pastry filled with plenty of beans. It has a sweet taste of adzuki beans and maple. The combination of maple and adzuki beans creates a delicious Danish pastry. The fluffy texture of the pastry pairs perfectly with the crunchy adzuki beans. It was a delicious Danish pastry.

Hello everyone, it's ZMA. It's lunchtime! Today, I visited the "Kobe-ya Kudanshita Store" near the station. It's strawberry season, and there are various strawberry pastries lined up. I got the strawberry and adzuki bean pastry, three berry Danish, mushroom and ham gratin, and sausage roll. The pastries are delicious and reasonably priced. The Danish pastry is bright red and tastes very berry-like. The strawberry and adzuki bean pastry has a nice balance of sweetness and flavor. The mushroom and ham gratin is one of my favorites, with a soft and fluffy texture. Kobe-ya's pastries stay soft even when they cool down, which I appreciate. Alright, time flies when you're watching TV during lunch break. See you later! Radio calisthenics time!

I bought a mango bread because it looked unusual. It tastes more like a sweet pastry, and it is quite sweet.

Visit to the 823rd food log review in Tokyo was a month ago. The store is located outside the ticket gate of Kudanshita Station on the Tokyo Metro and Toei lines. It is right after passing through the A-line side of the Tozai Line gate, making it very convenient to buy from. You order what you want from the showcase. It's reassuring that there is no dust. Despite the small showcase, they have a good variety. You can quickly buy and head to the office. I was full. Being in this location, they accept electronic money for transportation.

On July 13, 2018, I bought Kobe Ya's melty mango for a late-night snack. It was a Friday, so after leaving work on time, I went for a run at the Imperial Palace. Despite the intense heat, the sunset looked beautiful and it was a pleasant run. After the run, I had some errands to do at work, so I returned to Kudanshita station. Kobe Ya at Kudanshita station was having a sale before closing, so I decided to stop by. The melty mango was on sale for 270 yen each, but there was a special offer of 2 for 500 yen. Since I wanted a little snack before dinner, I bought one and brought it to work. The melty mango was delicious, with juicy mango juice moistening the pie crust. I devoured it like a juice. It was so tasty that I might have been able to eat two. I'll definitely buy it again. Thank you for the meal.

I stopped by this Kobe-ya on a Sunday morning in May 2018, just before 9 am. This Kobe-ya is located inside Kudanshita Station, where the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line, Hanzomon Line, and Toei Subway Shinjuku Line all stop. It is right in front of the Tozai Line ticket gate. There are no eat-in facilities at this Kobe-ya, it's more like a stand where you can buy bread and sandwiches to go. I bought the "katsu sandwich" (including tax, 605 yen) and had it for lunch that day. It was my first time trying the famous katsu sandwich at Kobe-ya, and it was delicious. The katsu was thick and the portion size was satisfying, giving me a sense of fulfillment after eating it.

In front of the ticket gate at Kudanshita Station on the Tozai Line, there is a shop called "Kobeya." It used to be a station kiosk, so I imagine it is quite small in size. Despite the limited space, there is a surprisingly wide variety of bread available. I was in the mood for a non-sweet meal bread, preferably a baguette. The staff recommended a Baguette for 270 yen. It is a tax-included Baguette, with a thick and chubby shape. It was already wrapped in plastic, so there was no crispy texture on the surface. It is a light and easy-to-eat type of French bread. With a lot of bread in the middle, it is easy to use for sandwiches or tartines. (^ー^)

I had some business at Nippon Budokan around 9 pm, and as I was heading towards the subway ticket gate, I came across a small store called Kobe-ya. The store was small and had a limited selection of products. You couldn't pick up the bread yourself, as everything was displayed in a showcase. Sometimes it can get busy depending on the time. Surprisingly, at this time, all items were 20% off, which was a great deal. I bought a melon bread and a Mediterranean lemon bread. The Mediterranean lemon bread is perfect for this intense heat. It has a nice acidity and is easy to eat.

When I got off at Kudanshita subway station, I noticed there was a Kobeya shop, so I decided to check it out on my way back and found out they were having a 20% off sale around 9:20 PM on Saturday. Lucky me! Although the item was a bit scarce, I decided to purchase one. I bought the "Tearable Ham and Cheese" for 198 yen after the discount, which was a 50 yen reduction. While the discount was nice, the original price was a bit high. The bread contains cream cheese wrapped in ham, with three pieces inside. There is also cheese on the surface, but the taste felt a bit lacking. Adding a bit of salty bacon or more cheese might enhance the flavor. Alternatively, a touch of mayonnaise could make it even more delicious.

Today, I had a gathering with old friends in Jinbocho. I had to transfer from the Tozai Line to the Hanzomon Line, and surprisingly, even though they are both part of the same subway system, I had to exit and re-enter the ticket gate. There were automatic ticket gates for transfers, which was unexpected. I wondered what would happen if I made a mistake. On the way to the next ticket gate, I saw a shop. There are many Kobe Ya stores in the Tozai Line. I initially passed by, but I felt hungry and was curious about their drinks, so I did a little shopping. The booth was small with only one energetic staff member. The rest had gloomy faces. Naturally, the curry buns were not freshly baked but brought in from somewhere. I decided on a curry bun as a safe choice. It seemed to be a paste-type curry, maybe a baked curry bun? There was no greasiness. Is Kobe Ya usually this average? Did the premium image get in the way?

While walking to transfer trains in the subway, I stumbled upon a bakery. I was surprised to find a bakery in such a place and stopped to take a look. It was a small shop, but they had delicious-looking bread displayed. Since I rarely come to Kudanshita, I decided to buy some. I usually buy both savory and sweet items at new shops, but this time I chose a pumpkin cheesecake and a sweet potato tart. I wanted to try autumn flavors like pumpkin, sweet potato, and chestnut. I enjoy these ingredients, so I am happy in the fall season. The sweet potato tart was not really to my liking, but the pumpkin cheesecake was really delicious.

A chain bakery located in the underground shopping area of Kudanshita Station. After enjoying my debut at an izakaya in Kudanshita, I was heading back towards the subway when I heard a sales pitch echoing through the underground mall. "Everything is 30% off! Three times the discount!" It turns out they were having a sale on bread. Since I had already finished my drinks for the night, I decided to grab some bread for tomorrow morning. I got a sausage roll and a ham sandwich, both of which were quite filling. I thought to myself that having bread for breakfast once in a while isn't a bad idea.

This time, I used it for dinner. I was unsure of what to order, but this time I purchased plenty of Aomori apples on sale. Order details: Plenty of Aomori apples 226 yen *Regular price 283 yen. The plenty of Aomori apple is a dish with plenty of stewed apples on a bread dough that looks like pie crust. The thick apples have a good sweetness and a crispy texture, making it a delicious dish. The shop has a beautiful display and the window display style is hygienic and pleasing. It is a bakery located inside Kudanshita Station.

I occasionally use this place when transferring during my commute. The store is small but there are 2 or 3 staff members who provide quick service, which is helpful during busy mornings. The limited variety of items is understandable given the small space, but it actually makes it easier to choose. They have ham and cheese bread, mashed potato topped bread, and sandwich-like bread with various fillings. It's quite busy with people buying one item for breakfast or a sandwich for a light lunch. They also have a stamp card, but you probably have to ask for it to get stamped.

Kobe-ya is a take-out only bakery located right outside the exit of Kudanshita Station on the Tozai Line. They always have discounted daily recommended breads, so I often end up buying something when passing by. Their products change with the seasons, so I find myself browsing and buying repeatedly. My recommendation is the 500 yen bag with about 5 of Kobe-ya's recommended breads. It's a good deal, and even though the breads are small in size, they are quite delicious. It's easy for a solo female to finish them all in one go. For those transferring at Kudanshita, I think it's worth stopping by to pick up some bread.
