I went to a KFC restaurant where you can eat all-you-can-eat Kentucky Fried Chicken, which is loved by everyone. Currently, there are only three stores nationwide where you can enjoy all-you-can-eat KFC, and I visited the KFC Restaurant at Minami Machida Granberry Park. It's a bit of a walk from the Minami Machida Granberry Park station on the Tokyu Denentoshi Line, but the restaurant is located in the farthest area, about a 3-minute walk. They start distributing numbered tickets at 10:00, and the restaurant opens at 11:00. Since it has been over two years since the opening and the crowds have calmed down, I aimed to arrive a little before 10:00. We arrived just before 10:00, got our numbered ticket, and were told to come back at 10:50. The numbered tickets had a QR code that could be scanned to see how much longer the wait would be. We were told that the first 25 groups could enter for the first round, and even after 10:00, we were still okay to get in. We returned to the KFC Restaurant at 10:50. Granberry Park is an outlet mall, so you won't have trouble passing the time. The 50-minute wait went by quickly. We returned to the restaurant. We paid first, were seated, and then guided to the buffet area (they accept electronic payments like PayPay). During lunchtime, it's an 80-minute all-you-can-eat session: Adults: 2280 yen, Elementary school students: 1080 yen, Children under elementary school age: 540 yen, 3 years old and under: free. Soft drinks are also all-you-can-drink. At exactly 11:00, we were called to put on gloves and head to the buffet table. At that time, it was chaotic because everyone went at once, not in order of the numbered tickets. The buffet included all-you-can-eat original chicken by part (which you can't choose in regular stores): Keel, Rib, Wing (low-fat healthy type), Thigh, Drumstick (high-fat rich type), as well as other familiar KFC menu items like biscuits, fried potatoes, coleslaw salad, corn saute, crispy chicken, and more. There were also curry, Cajun chicken, chicken pilaf, Rigatoni arrabbiata, fresh vegetable salad, croissant, and small desserts in containers. The menu was much more extensive than I had imagined. I started with crispy chicken and biscuits, then moved on to more salads. The lemon dressing on the salad was refreshing and helped settle my stomach. The coleslaw salad was also good with its acidity. I wanted to try the desserts, but I was already full. I refilled my coffee and finished. I didn't get to the desserts. Did I break even? It's debatable. But even if I didn't, I had a lot of fun.
