Today I visited memento mori. memento mori is a bar located on the 3rd floor of Toranomon Business Tower in Minato-ku, Tokyo. It is a bar located in Toranomon Yokocho, offering drinks based on cocoa such as cocoa pulp and cocoa butter. It is a unique bar where acacia and rose are fused with cocoa. The store is located a little away from the alley, and it is not an open space but a closed space. When you open the door, you will see a counter lined up, creating a fantastic and stylish atmosphere. While getting used to the unique atmosphere of the alley, I initially ordered a Cocoa Highball. I was surprised with the first sip of the Cocoa Highball. The taste of cocoa slowly spreads in the mouth from the highball, an unprecedented delicacy. I couldn't believe how delicious it was and whether it could be called a highball. The cocktail Amazon Cocoa Dry Mango is an excellent creation using Amazon cocoa. The aroma of Amazon cocoa is very prominent, and the overwhelming deliciousness overturns the common sense of alcohol. The Live Chocolate has a distinctive smoothness, and it can be enjoyed with a cocktail made with cocoa nib vodka. Personally, it was the number one bar I have visited so far. It dives into a unique genre and establishes a high-level development, making it a place I definitely want to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I went to a second bar after Elezogate, where I skipped carbs and dessert, so it was more for drinks this time. The black curry was quite authentic and delicious. Bar curries are often really good. The cheesecake was very filling, almost too much for someone with a sweet tooth like me. The karasumi (dried mullet roe) I ordered on the side might have been unnecessary. The chocolate cocktail was tasty, but a bit harsh on the throat, so I recommend asking for extra water. The place was almost full, which is understandable given the concept and quality.

The atmosphere and drinks are excellent. This is my third time here, and it seems to be getting busier each time. It's best to make a reservation as it gets full after 8 pm. I recommend the drink served in a cacao shell. The appetizers were dried fruits, smoked nuts, and cake on my first visit, dried fruits, smoked nuts, and cake on my second visit, and dried fruits and banana cake on my third visit.

White grape and lemon vermouth cocktail, tax included 1,870 yen. This was a special cocktail made for me as a suggestion to go well with the peach parfait and to keep the alcohol light before dinner. It was easy to drink and delicious, a perfect accompaniment to the parfait. 2. Adult peach parfait, tax included 3,980 yen. This is the August MeMe parfait "Adult Peach Parfait" with white chocolate, peach homemade ice cream, peach sorbet, vanilla ice cream, Earl Grey meringue, red currant crumble, white chocolate and vanilla cream, amaretto jelly, peach, framboise, and cassis sauce. It is a parfait with plenty of peaches both on top and inside, with a slightly adult taste using amaretto jelly, cassis liqueur, and framboise sauce. It was served in about 15 minutes, and it was a gorgeous and sophisticated parfait typical of Chef Aimeri Hidaka. First, I took photos and videos. I enjoyed the freshness and elegant sweetness of the peach adorned with gold leaf, and the peach sorbet was delicious, highlighting the taste of the peach. The vanilla ice cream was smooth and of high quality. The crispy meringue with Earl Grey aroma, the crumble as a texture accent, and the small red currants added color and accent. The white chocolate and vanilla cream, amaretto jelly, and the punchy framboise and cassis sauce were enjoyable to finish. After that, I enjoyed a cocoa husk tea to warm up. The bill was 6,650 yen including an 800 yen charge, a bit pricey, but Chef Hidaka's parfaits are always of high quality, and I look forward to the next parfait.

This time, it was midday, so I tried the mocktail course at the restaurant (I forgot to take a picture of the 3rd drink). The first drink, a signature one, had a sweet and sour taste like lychee that made me realize cocoa is a fruit, it was delicious and very fresh. The brownie appetizer was also moist and tasty, just the way I like it. The staff was friendly and the cozy atmosphere of the small restaurant made me feel comfortable, I definitely want to come back. Next time, I'd like to try their alcoholic drinks and they also have a must-try parfait that requires a reservation, so I will definitely visit again.

This is a bar that serves delicious cocoa alcohol and sweets. It is located on the same floor as Toranomon Yokocho. The atmosphere inside is not too quiet, making it feel easy to visit. However, there is plenty of a sense of luxury. The Soisson Chocolat was very delicious. The cocktails, which are the main attraction, are made to look like a glass of cocoa and have a low alcohol content. If you're in the mood for a drink, you might find it a bit lacking. There was an accident where all the alcohol leaked out of a crack in the cocoa, but they replaced it for us. It was nice to be able to enjoy it casually.

A mixology bar at Toranomon Hills that uses cacao. The atmosphere inside the store is very nice and recommended for dates. I chose the 3 cocktail course. The fresh cacao paired well with port wine and gin, making it very delicious and enjoyable. I felt like 3 drinks weren't enough, so I had tequila straight. They also had Don Fulano Real, but I went with Ahatoro. There weren't many customers, but the slow service speed bothered me a bit. The desserts looked delicious, so I will definitely come back for a rematch.

This seems to be the 4th ranked bar in Japan. "Memento Mori" means remember death! It is a cocktail bar specializing in cacao series, with the idea that we should cherish each day. The most famous ones are the Cacao Pulp Fizz with cacao fruit (pictured second), my personal favorite rich and smooth Chocolate Porcini (first picture), and the Cacao Smoke Manhattan (vodka, whiskey, Italian Panto Me, cherry) pictured seventh. Each has a luxurious flavor and richness, perfect for a soothing and enjoyable experience! It's best enjoyed with the Hot Cocoa Tea at the end. When you need a drink to heal your body and soul, I highly recommend it! Have a great weekend ♡

The first drink, Gift Rose Fizz, was disappointing because the ice didn't melt, but when I finished it, they poured rose water and I was able to enjoy the melted ice until the end. It was a wonderful and interesting presentation. The second drink was the recommended cocktail in a cocoa container. It was delicious, but I felt that the taste of cocoa pulp was not strong enough for the price, including the appearance. The cover charge was 800 yen. The appetizer was caramel popcorn and dried mango. Lastly, they also served cocoa tea. It was a perfect end with the rich aroma of cocoa. It's a restaurant with many glamorous original cocktails that makes you want to revisit.

The bar offers a variety of cocktails made with cocoa and botanical ingredients, and the interior is stylish and modern with a great atmosphere. I tried a cocktail made with cocoa liqueur and tonic, as well as a highball, both of which had a sophisticated taste. They also have a wide selection of parfaits and sweets. While Toranomon Hills is known for the rooftop bar at Andaz where people try to act cool at dusk, I think choosing a place like this bar, with its cool and sophisticated vibe, shows true style. It may be time to graduate from trying to look cool on the rooftop and opt for a place like this instead.

A stylish space where you can enjoy cocoa cocktails. They also have non-alcoholic options and open from 2 pm, so it's great for using as a cafe. With a food menu available, it seems like a good spot for a late lunch. They have a wide variety of original cocktails that you can't find elsewhere, so it seems like a place you won't get tired of even after multiple visits. Definitely a bar I want to go back to.

I started with the caramel mousse wrapped in white chocolate and the cute apple-shaped chocolate. The apple and yogurt sorbet was refreshing and delicious, while the vanilla ice cream had a luxurious taste. The combination of apple, almond croquant, honey cream, bergamot cream, and other elements provided a sophisticated flavor profile that you wouldn't expect from a bar. The cocoa husk and hojicha jelly, marinated apple in red wine vinegar, and spice crumble added an adult touch to the dessert. After enjoying the Cacao Husk Tea Parfait, I felt warm and cozy. In the past, taking photos of parfaits was challenging due to the dim lighting of the bar, but this time it was easier due to the slightly brighter atmosphere. I enjoyed the natural sweetness of the chestnut ice cream, the autumnal flavors of the sweet chestnuts, and the accent of rum raisins. The rich chocolate cream, chestnut cream, and the smooth French tarragon blancmange provided a delightful experience. Finally, I savored the rich cassis sauce to finish (*・∀・*)ノ 4.
