I visited the restaurant after work. It has an old-fashioned feel. There is a ticket machine outside and inside the shop where you can make your purchase. I was surprised by how quickly they served the food. During lunchtime, they had a lot of soba noodles prepared, so I got my order in no time. It's great for busy workers. The cost performance was also good. I enjoyed the soba broth as well.

Mini tempura bowl set for 600 yen. I chose the cold soba. I arrived at 11:40 and the restaurant was about 40% full. The place was spacious so I thought there was no rush, but by the time my order arrived, there was a line forming. Maybe I got lucky with the timing? The taste was average, but the cost performance is good, which I think is the secret to its popularity.

I finally decided to try out a soba restaurant that I had been curious about. I ordered the katsu donburi and cold soba set. Firstly, the price was over 150 yen cheaper than a certain soba chain store, and the soba had a good chewy texture with a satisfying portion. The fact that the dishware was made of pottery added to the dining experience.

Standing soba - Kameyoshi
It evokes a nostalgic feeling as if I had eaten it before. I purchased a soba ticket from the ticket vending machine. There were a total of two machines, one inside and one outside the shop. The exterior looks small, but the interior has a deep depth and is quite spacious. It caters to both standing and sitting customers. I bought a wakame soba for 470 yen (tax included). The dipping sauce is additive-free. The soba is freshly made every morning and served freshly boiled. It was a bit soft. Indeed, it is quite delicious for standing soba. It has a nostalgic and natural taste. The dipping sauce, being additive-free, does not have a strong flavor, adding to the natural taste. The default toppings of green onions and wakame also maintain that natural taste. I finished all the dipping sauce. It was a quiet time, so I could enjoy it slowly at a table. It was a soba with a gentle taste that makes you want to eat it again. Standing soba is cheap, fast, and delicious after all! Next time, I want to try a bowl set for a hearty meal.

【Store Overview】Located in Soba ni Adaibashi, this is a standing-style soba restaurant with proper seating available.
【Food Overview】You can enjoy a meal for under 500 yen with kakiage included, similar in price to chain restaurants. Despite the affordable price, the noodles have a good texture and the restaurant is surprisingly authentic. The broth is a rich Edo-style, suggesting a certain level of dedication. The kakiage, although pre-fried, is generous and satisfying. Overall, it is a relatively high-quality and delicious restaurant.

I've always been curious about this restaurant. It's located near the Reigan Bridge, is it related to "Kamejima" restaurant? They have my favorite dish, "Harusame Tempura." So, I ordered the "Harusame Tempura Soba" from the ticket machine. I handed the food ticket to the staff, waited in front of the counter, and soon my meal arrived on a tray. I sat at a table with the tray, sprinkled plenty of shichimi pepper on the tempura, and enjoyed it. The tempura was not too crispy but rather moist. I soaked it in the broth to let the flavors blend, and ate it together with the soba until I finished it. Thank you for the meal. I will definitely visit again.

I had lunch with a colleague for the first time at a business trip destination. It was my first experience with Tokyo soba. I ordered the Tsukimi Tororo Don set. I had heard rumors about it, but the color was dark. The soy sauce had a strong aroma and flavor. The dashi stock did not feel like Osaka style to me. I also felt that there was not enough Tororo in the Tororo Don. The cost performance may be good for Tokyo. I was full afterwards.

I visited around 11:15 am. It was a large restaurant with 3 staff members. I liked that there was plenty of space between tables. I ordered a 350 yen soba ticket and soon received my order. The bowl was made of plastic and had hot broth in it, so it required some effort to lift. The sign said "Proudly serving bonito broth" and you could smell the bonito flakes. At first, it seemed a bit sweet, but not overly so. The soba had a bit of a powdery texture, but it was chewy and had a good flavor. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

Kameyoshi offers high-quality soba at a low price, despite being a bit far from Kayabacho Station. The restaurant is spacious and the service is speedy, with your soba arriving quickly after purchasing a meal ticket. The taste is delicious, and the tempura and curry sets are also very satisfying.

Lunch break overlapped with a busy time, so I opted for quick and satisfying tempura soba at Kameyoshi. The soba itself is average for standing eating, but the broth is a bit sweet which I personally like. The tempura is generous and the portion of noodles is decent, providing good value and satisfaction. Comparing with the previous image, I noticed that the tempura has significantly improved.

Entered the restaurant around 11:40 am on a regular day, and found that more than half of the seats were empty. Ordered a cold kitsune udon at the ticket counter, and it was ready quickly. The portion was large, with one big piece of fried tofu. Compared to Yutaro nearby, the soba noodles were a bit dry. The broth in the bukkake udon was flavorful, but it was disappointing that there were few tempura options and no standalone rice dishes. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I went to a famous restaurant called Kameyoshi, located a 10-minute walk from Kayabacho Station on the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line and Hibiya Line. This restaurant has earned the title of "Kamei Yoshiyuki 9" in the world of standing soba, and it is a name that they will never let go of. The reason behind this is the combination of the names "Kameyoshi" and "Kamei Yoshiyuki" resulting in "Kameyoshi." As for Kamei Yoshiyuki 9, he is originally from Ikoma-cho, Nara Prefecture. He started playing baseball in 1st grade, excelled in the All Yamato Boys League during junior high, and even won the World Boys League as a representative of Japan. In high school, he participated in the 72nd National High School Baseball Invitational Tournament and later played for the Central University baseball team. He was known for his achievements in the field and was eventually drafted by the Yomiuri Giants in 2004. Throughout his career, he made significant contributions to the team, including winning silver medals as a representative in various international tournaments. Despite his success, he narrowly missed winning the championship with the Giants. He continued to play professionally, receiving accolades such as the Golden Glove Award. However, he faced challenges in later years, experiencing a decline in performance and struggling to secure a regular position on the team. Despite this, he remained a versatile player, capable of playing multiple positions on the field.

Spring chrysanthemum soba. The texture of the soba is just right. The saltiness of the broth and the flavor of the bonito dashi are also just right. It may not have any standout features, but it has a perfect balance that makes you want to come back for more. The spacious interior of the restaurant is also calming.

① Noodles: The noodles are firm and thin.
② Broth: The bonito broth has a slightly strong flavor.
③ Tempura: The tempura is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It soaks up the broth but is a bit oily.
④ Other: Nothing in particular. Today's final bowl was from Kameyoshi. Chiyoda is a nice area. The total spent on Tempura Tendon so far is 190,251 yen for 380 bowls. Thank you for the meal.

Kameyoshi☆Chiyobacho. Spring Chrysanthemum Tempura Soba for 410 yen. This restaurant is located 670 meters from Chiyobacho Station. They don't serve breakfast, so it was hard to visit. I came after taking a nap in the afternoon after my night shift. It seems like they are following the Tenkame style, as the contents are similar. I chose the Spring Chrysanthemum Tempura Soba, but the noodles were pre-boiled, which was disappointing. There is not much fragrance as they don't use fish powder. The chrysanthemum tempura was quite large. It would have been even more delicious if it was freshly fried. It seems like coming during lunchtime had a negative impact.

From Eitai Street in Nihonbashi to just before Reigan Bridge on the left. The soba noodles are priced at a throwback rate of 250 yen. It doesn't seem like you can get 250 yen from the ticket machine outside, so I decided on the 370 yen Seiro with burdock tempura. The soba noodles lack flavor, but they are properly chilled and not bad. The spicy dipping sauce is also good.

I went to Kameyoshi Soba. They cook the soba after you order, so the freshly boiled soba has a firmer texture and a stronger aroma compared to chain restaurants. Their original Kameyoshi soba includes kitsune, tanuki, and wakame toppings. I ordered the large size, so the noodles were doubled. The broth was a bit on the stronger side.

I have been eating salads only recently because I am on a diet, but my usual salad was not available at the convenience store, so I had standing soba for the first time in a while. Kitsune soba for ¥380 with a strong bonito-flavored broth. A decent amount of soba noodles. The fried tofu soaked up plenty of broth. It was simply delicious. This is good in its own way. I thought that this kind of casual restaurant is necessary near the office while finishing my meal. Thank you for the meal.

Kameyoshi, a standing soba noodle shop near Eitai Bridge. Located along Kaji Bridge Street, the shop has ticket machines outside and inside. Customers buy their tickets, hand them to the kitchen, and wait in line until their soba is ready. The soba noodles are served in order without disrupting the line. Customers then pick up their orders and head to the tables or stands inside the spacious shop. They offer a variety of set meals with rice dishes and soba noodles, such as curry rice with tempura soba or tempura rice bowl with tanuki soba. The soba noodles, made fresh every morning, are not very firm. The soup's flavor is decent for a standing soba shop.

The interior is not fancy, and it is a self-service restaurant. The soup with a strong bonito broth is very good. It's always crowded with office workers during lunchtime.
