Before going shopping, we had lunch around 12 PM on a holiday. The restaurant was about 80% full. The seating is on the second floor, so it might be a bit challenging for those with mobility issues. The first floor is where the kitchen is located.
We ordered the Deluxe Lunch Course B (3200 yen including tax) x 2, which includes an appetizer platter, homemade bread, pasta of the day, main dish of the day, and a drink. The appetizer platter had 6 items, with the prosciutto being delicious, but the rest were quite ordinary. I had orange juice to refresh myself, while my friend had iced tea.
The homemade bread was soft and delicious. I wish we could have had seconds. I ended up ordering the homemade Sangria (650 yen) even though I didn't plan on drinking. It had a slightly bitter taste and a hint of cinnamon.
The White Wine-braised Chicken Thigh and String Bean Spaghetti was served with Capellini pasta, which was quite bland and the portion was quite small. The Scallop and Shishito Pepper Peperoncino, also served with Capellini, had a restrained garlic flavor and didn't quite capture the essence of Peperoncino.
The Sauteed Fresh Fish from Iyo-nada, Ehime Prefecture, was crispy on the outside and fluffy inside, but it was a bit too ordinary. The Oven-Baked Australian Lamb Loin, my friend's choice, was also just average.
For dessert, there were 3 options available at 100 yen each. We chose Raspberry Mousse and Chocolate Cake. They were delicious, but not filling enough. We thought about having ramen afterwards.
Considering the price of 3200 yen for lunch, it felt a bit overpriced for what we got. We couldn't imagine how small the portions would be for the 1700 yen course. The plates were not cleared promptly, and there was quite a wait between dishes.
The restroom was spacious and clean, with separate facilities for men and women. The total bill for the two of us was 7350 yen.
Overall, it was a decent meal, but we felt it was lacking in portion size and variety for the price.
