I was moved by being able to drink my favorite California cult wine, The Prisoner, by the glass! The Blue Label by Fan Hill was also incredibly delicious! The champagne had a smooth acidity that I really enjoyed! The wine selection was spot on! The lamb was also very delicious, with various cooking options available, and it was surprisingly tasty even as sashimi!

Located in Asakusa, this restaurant offers lamb and wine for you to enjoy. A friend took me here as it's their favorite spot. We started with a toast with sparkling wine. I was a bit worried because I'm not a fan of lamb, but my friend assured me that there would be no unpleasant smell, so I visited with some skepticism. I tried their specialty lamb chops and shrimp and avocado tartare. I was surprised when I took a bite of the lamb chops! There was no aftertaste or smell, I couldn't even tell I was eating lamb. It was so good that I felt happy to be able to enjoy lamb chops. Encouraged by this, I decided to try another dish - lamb tataki. It was rare and had no smell at all. I never thought I would overcome my aversion to lamb, so I was amazed. I'm happy to have expanded my palate with new foods. This restaurant has definitely become a place I will visit again.

Visited the restaurant to celebrate its 10th anniversary. I still think the lamb chops here are the best in Japan. #UltraChopPryu #LambChop #AzabuJuban #Restaurant #Gourmet #DeliciousFood #Foodie #FoodLover #Instagrammable #Tokyo #MinatoCity #ShibuyaCity #restaurant #gourmet #delicious #foodie #foodlover #photogenic #tokyo #minatoku #shibuyaku

An underground shop with a counter and tables, creating an adult atmosphere. Enjoy some wine and try the lamb chops, which are delicious with three different flavors available. The prices are reasonable and you can enjoy a leisurely meal while having a conversation.

The lamb, side dishes, and wine were all excellent. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great, making it a perfect place to go with someone special. I don't know much about wine selection, but I was happy to see they had The Prisoner available.

Odenjima's owner, Ochan, selected a bottle of wine for us at ¥13,000. It was in a good matured state. We chatted about various things, including a reflection on the shabu-shabu restaurant we visited earlier. As the night grew late, we enjoyed ourselves. I wonder if I should come back for lamb chops after a long time. Thank you for the meal!
MaBuJuu / Ultra Chop Pru Budget 6,000 yen~ This restaurant, which offers the most delicious lamb chops in the world (according to my research), has a calm atmosphere with friendly staff, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a leisurely meal. Cheers with Masters Dream's draft beer. The ultra bagna cauda with fresh vegetables is a delight, with a bucket full of vegetables. Lamb tataki with petal cheese - the lamb tataki is already amazing, but the cheese here is something you've never seen before. I'll say it upfront, the lamb here has no gamey taste at all! Seared lamb with cilantro - why is lamb and cilantro so delicious together? The seasoning is simple, but packed with flavor! Shrimp and avocado tartare - a refreshing tartare. It has a Genovese-like finish and you just can't stop eating it. Lamb rack charcoal-grilled - the wait is worth it. The lamb rack is cooked slowly over charcoal, with intervals of 50 minutes of charcoal grilling and resting. It's just too delicious! No gamey taste, tender, juicy - even those who don't like lamb should try it. I had red wine by the bottle this time, but they have a wide selection of wines by the glass, which is also recommended to pair with your meal. With its mature atmosphere, it's perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, and dates. I'd love to visit the main branch in Kagurazaka next time. ----------------- Ultra Chop Pru 03-3455-1339 2-3-6 Azabu-Juban, Minato-ku, Tokyo FLEG Azabu-Juban B1F 2 minutes walk from Azabu-Juban Station Exit 4 on the Namboku Line, 3 minutes walk from Azabu-Juban Station on the Oedo Line -----------------

■Access: 3-minute walk from Azabu-Juban Station on the Tokyo Metro Namboku Line
■Number of visits: First time
■Purpose: Dinner with friends
■Overview: A specialty restaurant for lamb dishes located near the Azabu-Juban shopping street. The restaurant emphasizes dishes made with lamb from New Zealand and offers a wide selection of wines. The interior is designed like a bar, creating a perfect atmosphere for a date.
■Menu: The menu consists of individual orders. In addition to the popular lamb chops, they also offer items like beef fillet steak. They have a variety of appetizers available, highlighting the concept of enjoying wine at the restaurant. The menu on the day of the visit included:
- Lamb chops with yuzu pepper
- Lamb chops with truffle mustard
- Lamb sashimi
- Bagna cauda
- Lamb sushi
- Lamb tongue
- Glass of wine x2
■Impressions: Although I don't usually frequent the Azabu-Juban area, I was invited by a friend who loves lamb to visit this restaurant. When you think of lamb, you may imagine a lively atmosphere at a yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) restaurant, but this place allows you to enjoy lamb in an elegant and sophisticated setting like a bar. The lamb chops, carefully grilled over charcoal, were tender and full of flavor without any gaminess. The sauces like truffle mustard and yuzu pepper were also tastefully selected. The staff mentioned that even those who are not fond of lamb would enjoy the dishes, and I completely agree after tasting the delicious lamb chops. The other dishes were also unique and interesting. With a wide selection of wines, I look forward to visiting again to enjoy the combination of lamb and wine. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

#Ultra Chop's lamb chops and lamb sashimi. Went with a friend after Rei-chan's live show in Roppongi. Used to eat here often when I worked in Azabu Juban. They used to have lamb aglio e olio too, but the lamb options have decreased. The sheep-shaped cheese comes in pairs if you order two. They also have a big lamb rack if you're really hungry. #TokyoFoodie #AzabuFoodie #AzabuJubanFoodie #meat #lamb #sheep #sheepcheese #rambchop #ramb

I came back again, always alone but this time with a friend nearby. The underground location means no phone signal, which is inconvenient, but the lamb here is truly delicious! I could eat lamb chops all day, they go perfectly with red wine! The counter makes it easy for solo diners, but seating is limited and it's not cheap. Also, there's only one unisex restroom!

I love sheep, so this restaurant is perfect for me! The lamb chops - regular, yuzu pepper, and mustard - were all delicious! Especially the regular and mustard ones. The yuzu pepper was a bit spicy. The lamb sashimi with petal cheese was amazing. The lamb meat was incredibly tender, without any gamey taste, and had a hint of grassy aroma. The petal cheese was rich and creamy, made from Petit Agour, a goat cheese. I will definitely come back! Other dishes like the creamy pasta (with autumn salmon and mushrooms) were good, even though I'm not a fan of the ingredients. The pasta was perfectly al dente. The Caesar salad had a generous portion, so I was satisfied. I tried three types of wine, and the Brazilian white wine was refreshing with a rich flavor. The Spanish Familiar Blue Label 2018 red wine was the best I've had this year - it had a floral aroma that made me feel like I was in a flower garden when I closed my eyes. The kitchen was run by a female chef working alone, which was impressive. The two staff members in the dining area were attentive and overall, it was a great restaurant. For sheep lovers like me, this place is much better than a certain smoky rise nearby!

★The lamb meat exceeded my expectations with its delicious flavor and the more I chewed, the more the taste came out and it was delicious. The wine was especially delicious, making it a perfect choice for a second stop. If I were taken here spontaneously, I would fall in love all over again! ★Service We were seated at the counter on this day, which I usually don't enjoy, but it turned out to be a comfortable space for me. The service was just right, not too close or too far, which was nice. It happened to be my boyfriend's birthday soon, so I called last minute asking if they could prepare a special plate, and they kindly agreed, making the surprise a big success. ★Atmosphere We visited as the second stop for our date. This place is definitely recommended for a second stop. The feeling of going underground in Azabu was exciting, and the atmosphere at the counter and the moderate bustle inside the restaurant were lovely.

Entered the shop after 10:30 PM? After saying goodbye to everyone, I still felt like having a drink. Actually, I've been mainly drinking, so I've digested my dinner and now I'm getting hungry... That's why I decided to go here alone, where it seems easy to enter even late at night! Despite the pandemic, they were still serving alcohol, so I was confident that it would be okay to visit during this late-night time, and I managed to slip into a seat at the counter. I ordered a glass of wine and one lamb chop. All in all, it was satisfying and delicious. The lamb chop here is really good. The table charge was actually higher than the lamb chop (laughs). Why am I even taking photos of the order form and receipt? I must be drunk (laughs). Thanks for the meal! Occasionally coming here for a proper meal isn't a bad idea at all!

In recent years, lamb meat has become popular like beef, pork, and chicken, but it is still commonly associated with Genghis Khan. The first time I experienced the deliciousness of lamb was through lamb chops, which are quite different from Genghis Khan. Therefore, when I want people to taste that, this restaurant is perfect for beginners. The lamb chops here are from New Zealand, with a mild flavor and rich taste. They are prepared with an extra touch, making them almost indistinguishable from regular beef. If someone says it doesn't taste like lamb, that's fine, they can try something more advanced. Think of this restaurant as a place where you can learn to distinguish between different types of meat.

Ultra Chop Prulam Chop in Asakusa is a wonderful restaurant where you can enjoy delicious lamb chops. Everything on the menu is tasty, and you can eat as many lamb chops as you want. The surprisingly refreshing lamb tataki is also delicious, especially when paired with cheese. I'm hooked on the rich flavor of the lamb meat.

"Ultra Chop Plu" in Azabu-Juban, which handles New Zealand lamb and New Zealand wine, can be reached at 03-3455-1339. Located a 3-minute walk from Azabu-Juban Station at 2-3-6FLEG Azabu-Juban B1F in Minato-ku, Tokyo, this is a place where you can easily encounter New Zealand wine and cuisine in the Azabu-Juban area. The entrance leads downstairs to a different world with a stylish design featuring an open counter and a wine cellar. It's recommended for a date in Azabu-Juban. The recommended glass of wine changes daily, so be sure to ask the staff. I ordered champagne and the highest quality New Zealand lamb chops grilled over charcoal (with salt and pepper, and truffle mustard). The popular lamb sashimi dish and lamb bolognese were both juicy and delicious. I personally recommend the simple salt and pepper seasoning for the hot and thick lamb chops. The lamb sashimi, topped with cheese made from lamb's milk and served with horseradish, was outstanding and definitely worth ordering again. Completing the lamb course with the main dish of lamb bolognese was a delightful experience. "Ultra Chop Plu" offers the best lamb chops and delicious wine. I hope you can enjoy the truly delicious New Zealand lamb chops at a reasonable price and pair them with great wine. Experience an "Ultra Chop" night at Azabu-Juban Station, just a 3-minute walk away. The staff are looking forward to welcoming you. While Azabu-Juban is known as an adult town, it's also a great place for a night out. If you love lamb, be sure to visit "Ultra Chop Plu" in Azabu-Juban. Delicious New Zealand wine and cuisine are waiting for you in Azabu-Juban!"

Ultra Chop Prew, who enjoys New Zealand lamb chops grilled over charcoal in a stylish wine bar. Located underground near Patio 10, this restaurant offers instant reservations via LINE and is run by Taketaka Furunori, who is active in the food tech field. On this day, I ordered the following sheep-themed menu items for takeout. I had imagined a more high-end atmosphere from the name of the restaurant, but the interior is actually calm and suitable for a date, creating an interesting contrast. (excluding tax)
- Fresh Vegetable Ultra Bagna Cauda 1,280 yen
A fail-safe menu with rich colors. The carrot carved into a sheep shape is adorable.
- Seared Lamb with Green Onion Ponzu 780 yen
This dish has a strong lamb flavor but is refreshing with the ponzu sauce.
- Lamb Bolognese Spaghetti 1,280 yen
The coarsely ground lamb adds an interesting twist to this dish.
- Ultra Chop (Lamb Chop) 1 piece 480 yen
Thick yet tender, this lamb chop is easy to enjoy with little gaminess. The regular seasoning (Christmas Island salt + pepper) is likely the most popular, but the subtle yuzu pepper flavor is also good. The Truffle Mustard (1 piece 580 yen) doesn't have a strong truffle taste, but the mustard from the long-established "Maille," which is a purveyor to various European royal families, pairs well with the lamb chop. Overall, the lamb chop is the highlight here. Chaozu, a sister restaurant known for its dumplings and champagne, shares some similarities, such as offering three seasoning options and promoting sparkling wine. I will definitely visit again!

The bar I went to that specializes in lamb surprised me by offering water when I couldn't drink alcohol, which made me happy. The lamb dishes were excellent! The roasted lamb, which they called "tataki" instead of roast beef, was incredibly tender and delicious. The lamb chops were also the most tender I've ever had, and the yuzu pepper and scallion ponzu were perfect accompaniments. The meat sushi, which I was hesitant to try due to the local reputation, turned out to be delicious with thick slices of roasted lamb on red vinegar tea rice cooked with oolong tea. The wasabi from the West also paired surprisingly well. The lamb rib section was impressive when it arrived, and it was just as delicious as everything else. I couldn't tell the difference between the lamb chops and the ribs, but watching the man next to me finish four lamb chops made me wonder if that was a better deal. The curry, a lamb version of butter chicken, unfortunately contained cashews (which I'm allergic to), but my companion mentioned that it wasn't as outstanding as some blogs had claimed. The experience would have been even better if the couple next to us hadn't started speaking loudly in poor English... Oh well, that's just how it is in this area!笑

I visited the restaurant on a Saturday night after 10pm, and the place was bustling. The counter was full, but the manager seated me at a table in the back. I ordered the tataki, uni sushi, and two types of lamb chops that I couldn't try last time, along with two glasses of wine. The total came to around 6000 yen. It's easy for even solo diners to come in. The tataki had a wonderful aroma that spread in my mouth, and the cheese that came with it was rich and paired well with the red wine. The uni sushi was delicious, and I could have eaten as many rolls as I wanted. The lamb chops were a bit tougher than last time, maybe the quality of the meat varies. The staff also offered me a wine tasting. The atmosphere of the restaurant was calm, with lively customers, mostly regulars. If you don't mind a lively crowd, this place could be a hidden gem. Just note that the restaurant is underground, so there's no phone signal.
