A slightly dim, adult hideaway-like bar located a 4-minute walk from A13 exit of Kasumigaseki Station on each Tokyo Metro line and a 4-minute walk from exit 11 of Toranomon Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line. It is said that many bartenders have been trained at this bar. The amuse-bouche is a cold corn soup that is sweet and delicious. I ordered the Akita cedar gin. The fruit cocktails are also excellent. It was such a lovely bar. Instagram ID: kuidaore.8.

To Bar Gaslight in Kagurazaka: Upon entering, we were served with consomme soup right away. The bottles lined up were quite unique, not commonly seen in other bars, which got us excited. On this day, we had a Gin Sonic (with Sakuraio White Herb), Tequila (Clase Azul Reposado), Whiskey (Dewar's 18 Years on the rocks), Bloody Sam, and Cheese (Wash). Great atmosphere, interesting selection of drinks, and excellent service. Will definitely visit again.

I visited here with great anticipation. When we arrived, there were no other customers, and the bartender kindly chatted with us. Time flew by as we talked, and around 10 pm, a few groups of people who seemed to be colleagues from nearby workplaces came in. I ordered a strong whiskey-based cocktail and tried the Scotch Manhattan "Rob Roy." The spotlight at the counter where the drinks were made, along with the vivid crimson color, was mesmerizing. The taste was rich and satisfying. For my second drink, I asked about a Mimosa, but not too sweet. The bartender served champagne and orange separately, saying to mix them in my mouth for a Mimosa experience. It was so stylish! The citrus used was a special variety called "Asumi," with just the right amount of sweetness. My companion's Gimlet for the second drink was served in a cocktail glass with a design of flower petals and lime juice sprinkled on top, sparkling beautifully in the spotlight. I may not be able to come here often, but I would love to visit again for a special night.

On this day, I had a meeting in Roppongi. After dinner, I headed to Kasumigaseki. My destination was GASLIGHT. If you love bars in Miyagi Prefecture, you may have heard of this place. It is a bar owned by a veteran bartender from Miyagi, Mr. I. When I mentioned that I came from Sendai, he had stories to share. I visited on a weekday night. Next to me were some middle-aged salarymen. In this area, there are probably many bureaucrats as well. Let's start with a Caol Ila. As I looked at the back bar, I spotted something interesting from Ardbeg. I found the Supernova. Last year, the Hypernova was released, but I missed out on the lottery. So I got it separately. It was still relatively cheap, so why not. The Supernova has a strong peat flavor. If you like heavy peat, you'll love this. Of course, as a lover of Islay whiskies, I enjoy this kind of drink. Finally, I had a Martini. I didn't get to have one the day before, which was a shame since it's my favorite cocktail. The gin was London Hill and No.3, quite rare. It was my first time trying London Hill. The vermouth was Mancino, also a first for me. The vermouth was a small amount in a dry Martini. Just the way I like it. The crisp taste of the gin was incredibly satisfying. It was a delicious Martini. The bill was quite high because I had some really good whiskies, but it was within my expectations. I was completely satisfied. The bartender was very polite and made the experience enjoyable. The last train time had changed since the old days, so it was a bit of a rush at the end. It was a really great bar, and I would love to visit again!

Located in Kasumigaseki, this is a renowned authentic bar representing Tokyo. It has a calm atmosphere with old jazz music playing. Due to its location, it attracts many politicians and bureaucrats as customers, as well as regulars. The history of the establishment dates back to 1953 when it opened as a members-only bar called "Gaslight Club" in Chicago. It had prominent members like Elizabeth Taylor and top business leaders, and even expanded to Paris and New York at its peak. In the early 1960s, a branch was opened in Azabu Raccoon Hole in Tokyo as a members-only restaurant bar. Unfortunately, it closed in 1988 but reopened in 1989 in Kasumigaseki as a bar only. The bar offers a wide range of cocktails, from classic martinis to award-winning creations and seasonal fruit cocktails. There is no menu, but the bartenders can create based on your preferences. The owner-bartender, Mr. Iguchi, won awards at international competitions, and the bar is known for its excellent service. The manager, Mr. Sato, is skilled at making Jack Rose cocktails. The bar has produced many talented bartenders and is also known for its attentive service. In addition to Kasumigaseki, they have branches in Ginza and Yotsuya.

The restaurant is full of bureaucrats laughing. It seems like important people from the parliament also come here. The customers who come here seem amazing and cute. The interior is stylish, the alcohol is delicious, and the center of the counter is spotlighted where they make drinks, which is stylish!

The inside of the bar is dimly lit, with a straight counter stretching out. In the center, there is a spotlight where cocktails are being made. Conversations with acquaintances are lively, despite a large group causing some noise. The bartenders are all smart and courteous. This bar has produced many famous bartenders and is considered a prestigious establishment. It originated from the Gaslight Club in Chicago and later moved to Japan. Known for its traditional cocktails like the Martini, with a unique preparation method. They offer a wide selection of 500 types of alcohol and are famous for their homemade foods like corned beef. I started with a Mojito and ended with their traditional Martini, which is made by meticulously adjusting the temperature from -20 degrees. It's served in a special Baccarat glass and has a sharp and high-quality taste. The bar snacks, like white asparagus pickles, Gaslight bacon, and smoked chicken liver, are good but not exceptional. However, for a bar, the food is adequate as the focus here is on the cocktails.

I visited this authentic bar when I traveled to Tokyo from my hometown. This place is the main store of Gaslight, with branches in Yotsuya and Ginza, and it is a very famous bar! The owner won the world championship in a cocktail competition, so you can experience the highest level of service, drinks, and atmosphere here. I will definitely visit again!

Hidden in the basement near the company, this bar is like a secret hideaway. It mainly has counter seats, creating an intimate atmosphere. They serve carefully crafted drinks, perfect for enjoying a drink alone after work or chatting with friends. Highly recommended are their famous gin and tonic and seasonal fruit cocktails.

I visited Bantyo's main temple after a long time. It's a shame that I can't visit often even though it's the main temple. The corned beef sandwich is delicious.
