This time I tried the pork cutlet, but if you come here, the chicken cutlet is really delicious. Chicken cutlet is seriously tasty. The rest is just okay!! But you can get refills so it's totally fine!!!!

At night, I enjoyed tender chicken cutlets, bite-sized pork cutlets, and highball with all-you-can-eat cabbage for 1700 yen. The chicken cutlets were really soft and delicious. This is my favorite place for cutlets. It's so popular that I think they will continue to expand their stores in the future.

I wanted the premium sirloin and filet to be juicier. The filet became tough when it cooled down, so its deliciousness decreased by half. The chicken breast was quite tasty, but I know of other restaurants that are even more delicious, so I wasn't impressed.

When I visited the Roppongi store two years ago, I didn't know that their specialty was the chicken tenderloin cutlet because I had just started using Tabelog. This time, I finally got to try it at the Akasaka store. Delicious! I didn't expect to feel so satisfied even with just one tenderloin. The batter is not too heavy, so even as I get older, I think I can still enjoy it. The free refills of rice and cabbage are a common service, but personally, I loved that the cabbage was served in a separate bowl. I was so into eating that I forgot to take a picture! Haha.

I was surprised by the deliciousness of the Mix Fry Set and the individual order of Chicken Katsu, so I bought 2 more for takeout. The meat was so tasty, especially when I tried it with salt as recommended. The Katsu on skewers was perfectly fried, and the Menchi and one-bite Hire Katsu were easy to eat and enjoyable. I was happy that the cabbage came in a separate dish. I enjoyed it with sesame dressing. You can get refills on rice and cabbage.

Continuing from yesterday, I went to Imakatsu again today! Yesterday I went to the Roppongi location, but today I went to the Akasaka one! I went after my workout! The must-have here is the chicken tenderloin cutlet! But the pork cutlet is also really delicious!

I visited for lunch in Akasaka around 2 pm, so it was quite empty. Before the tonkatsu arrived, I had three servings of cabbage. The chicken tenderloin cutlet had an interesting texture and was delicious. The others were quite oily. Next time, I plan to order only the chicken tenderloin cutlet.

This is a tonkatsu restaurant located along the Esplanade Akasaka Street. The main store is in Roppongi, and they also have branches in Ginza. I first visited about 10 years ago... I remember being taken there for lunch by my boss at the time, and I thought the tonkatsu was elegant. Since then, I haven't had the chance to visit again, but I recently had lunch there after a long time. I entered the restaurant just before 12:00 on a weekday... It was almost full even at this time, but luckily there was a seat at the counter so I could enter without waiting. [Order details] - Special Sa-sami Katsu Set (1200 yen) There were various options, but I chose the Sa-sami Katsu Set, which is said to be the specialty... It's a menu item that uses 3 pieces of Sa-sami made from brand chicken raised on a contracted farm in Iwate Prefecture. It's said to have a healthy deliciousness as its feature... After coming back from the sauna, I felt like eating tonkatsu in Akasaka, so I went to Imakatsu for the first time. This time, I had the mixed fry set. The menchi, ebi fry, and hire were all elegant in taste compared to other tonkatsu places, and I didn't feel heavy in my stomach at all. It had been a while since I last ate there, but the unique way of frying and juiciness that can only be found at Imakatsu was still there. Delicious.

I went to a shop near Ginza that I had been curious about. It seems that their chicken cutlet is famous. I visited around 12:45 on a regular weekday. There was one person at the counter, so I was seated right away, but had to wait a bit after that. It's a popular place. I ordered the special pork cutlet and jumbo shrimp fry. The pork cutlet was a good size, slightly pink inside, and had a refined taste with a bit more oil. It was delicious, but at my age, it might be a bit too heavy. The jumbo shrimp fry was fantastic!! So plump and tasty!! I enjoyed it very much.

I had been seeing the Imakatsu sign in Ginza before, which was only a 6-minute walk from Akasaka-Mitsuke. When I was looking for a lunch spot, I stumbled upon Imakatsu in Akasaka! I checked the menu and it was indeed Imakatsu. Since it was a bit late and there was no line, I decided to go in without hesitation. I've always wanted to try the chicken tenderloin cutlet, and now I finally had the chance! I decided to be a little greedy and ordered the tenderloin cutlet along with the crab cream set. The cabbage was served separately and it seemed like it was all-you-can-eat. The food was served in about 7 minutes. I started with the chicken tenderloin cutlet, and it was quite surprising. It was so light and crispy that it's hard to believe it's a cutlet! You can easily eat it bite after bite. It's a must-try for those who want to enjoy a healthy meal without too much oil. The rosukatsu set with an additional chicken katsu. The tonkatsu had poor oil drainage. The quality of the meat was good but regrettable. The chicken katsu was tasty but not worth the price. The miso soup was mediocre. After the meal, water was poured without asking, along with the bill. Two staff members were involved in serving, but neither noticed the mistake. The restaurant needs to review its manual.

I'm a tonkatsu restaurant, but we also offer alcohol and snacks at night. Today, we didn't have draft beer so I had bottled beer and enjoyed cabbage with sauce or sesame dressing from the table. Food: The must-try dish here is the "Sasami Katsu." I ordered the "Special Sasami Katsu Set," which comes with a choice of multigrain rice. A few minutes from Akasaka-Mitsuke Station in Minato-ku, Tokyo, there is a restaurant that has received awards such as the Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2015 for its Roppongi main branch. I heard about it and decided to visit the Akasaka location. I arrived at 11:35 am, shortly after opening, and there were already 6 customers ahead of me. The place quickly filled up with more customers. I ordered the specialty "Sasami Katsu Set" for 1,200 yen, which was eligible for a 20% PayPay campaign discount, making it 954 yen. I also considered the Menchi Katsu Set, but I wanted to savor the Sasami Katsu first. The meal came with a choice of mixed grain rice or white rice, and free refills of rice and cabbage. The staff recommended trying the Sasami Katsu with salt first, and when I did, I was amazed by its light and tender texture. It was crispy on the outside, yet moist and slightly rare on the inside. The sweetness of the Sasami was enhanced by the salt, and I was truly impressed. I definitely want to try their other fried dishes after experiencing this.

I started a gourmet website for Mitomi Emon. The first encounter with "Imakatsu" was at the Ginza store. Since the company I was working for was nearby at the time, I often went there for lunch. I became a fan of the famous chicken tenderloin cutlet and visited frequently. Imakatsu also has stores in Roppongi and Akasaka, and this visit to the Akasaka store completes the trilogy. I discovered a menu that fulfills my selfish desire, the "Mixed Fry Set" which includes chicken tenderloin, pork cutlet, shrimp fry, and minced meat cutlet. The fine breadcrumbs and fragrant oil are still delicious, and the charm is evident in all the fried items. The chicken tenderloin cutlet, which leaves a surprisingly juicy impression, lives up to its reputation. However, there was a slight difference in the oil drain overall, whether it was due to personal changes or the store itself. Sorry for being picky as a fan... Laughing. Thank you for the meal!
