On the 10th day of commuting to Chofu, I decided to grab a quick takeout lunch at Subway. I had a busy morning schedule and wanted to clear my head a bit before my afternoon lecture. I wanted to eat quickly during my short lunch break. The line for ordering was a bit long that day, and the line at the Mister Donut next door was even longer. I ordered a B.L.T sandwich with wheat bread, no toast, and extra veggies. I got the original potato chips as a side. I always choose oil & vinegar for this sandwich. The staff used to put it on for me, but now they provide it in small packets so I can adjust the amount myself. It was a hot day, but the refreshing taste of the sandwich with the crunchy and fluffy potato chips was really good. I had to wait a bit, but the eating time was about 10 minutes. For my 8th day going to Chofu, I decided to have lunch at Subway after a long time. I haven't been able to run as much as I wanted to these past few days, so I'm using this opportunity to adjust. I ordered the Spicy Ebi Tamago in regular size with wheat bread, toasted, and asked for extra vegetables. I also got a regular size potato chips and iced tea as a set. The seating area was small, but luckily there were seats available so I decided to dine in. Oh, the shape of the potato chips has changed since the last time I had them. I really like the quantity and taste of Subway's potato chips. The Spicy Ebi Tamago had egg salad, shrimp, and chipotle sauce. The smoked jalapeno sauce wasn't as spicy as I thought it would be. By the time I finished eating, the place had gotten quite crowded. I'm glad I came in at a good time. After quickly finishing my meal, I'm going to study for my afternoon lecture. The buns at Subway resemble something, don't they? They actually resemble a submarine, hence the name Subway. The idea is to sandwich ingredients in submarine-shaped bread, hence the name.【Order this time】Turkey Breast This time, I felt like having turkey, so I went with the Turkey Breast. They can make it to your liking, but I left it up to the staff this time. The bun is moist. It seems like it was made with Japanese taste in mind. The ingredients include turkey, lettuce, tomato, and more. The turkey is refreshing and delicious. It's a sandwich with a health-conscious vibe. There are so many varieties to enjoy, so I'd like to try it again.

I had some business in Chofu. It took about 1 hour by bus from Futakotamagawa to the final stop, Chofu Minami-guchi. Feeling hungry, I was wandering around and came across a SUBWAY. I saw a delicious-looking seasonal sandwich on offer. Even though I've been to SUBWAY many times, I always struggle with ordering. A bit embarrassing. I ordered the Tandoori Chicken drink set for 600 yen, with the usual black iced coffee. This time, I chose sesame bread toasted with all the recommended veggies and sauce. The Tandoori Chicken was nicely spicy and tasty. Personally, I've always liked French bread sandwiches, so I wish they had at least one type of hard bread. I think I saw it at SUBWAY in Australia. It's been a long time since I last had it, but SUBWAY is still delicious. It feels balanced with a good amount of veggies, and you can quickly eat it even when you're short on time. It's healthier than other major fast food chains, but still fills you up. I've been trying to cut back on wheat lately due to exercising, but I couldn't resist the temptation of SUBWAY.

I added extra vegetables to the honey oats and topped it with hot pepper chili sauce for an extra kick. It was delicious with the added spiciness. I could eat plenty of vegetables and left feeling full.

I find it convenient to use when I need a low-calorie lunch at an affordable price. It's understandable that there is some waiting due to the nature of the store. Recently, they have started indicating the line formation position, which I think is very good. However, there are times when the staff don't seem to listen properly to the orders, and some of them lack cleanliness. It would be better if customers could just sit down in order after making their purchase.

I visited the store again on March 8, 2017. Today, I felt like eating something bread-based, so I decided to go to Subway. I ordered the Weekday Special Set C (Tuna, Spicy BBQ, Hot Cocoa). I chose a drink and potato as part of the set. Since it was Thursday, the main ingredient was tuna, and it was delicious with the bread. The potato was Spicy BBQ flavor, which was slightly spicy and perfect for the cold weather.

Today's Choofu meal series #60. Today, I decided to have lunch first before heading out in Choofu. I chose to go to Subway on the 1st floor of PARCO. I had only been to Subway once before, so I was a bit confused when ordering (laughs). Today, I ordered the Chili Chicken Cheese Melt (+ sliced cheese), Pepsi Cola (S), and Basil Potato (S). The Basil Potato was surprisingly delicious with a nice sprinkle of basil. As for the Chili Chicken Cheese Melt, I followed the staff's recommendation to add sliced cheese, but it ended up reducing the spiciness by half, making it a bit unsatisfying. The portion was unexpectedly large, and I felt full until the evening.

Subway next to Mister Donut in Tamagawa Parco. I waited in line thinking how slow the turnover is due to Subway's sandwich-making process. I ordered a Cafe Latte Float (tax included 290 yen) since I had already eaten lunch elsewhere and was thirsty. Surprisingly, many people don't seem to know that Subway offers floats. There are 6 varieties available, all priced at 290 yen. The Cafe Latte Float is made by pouring coffee, adding milk, ice, and vanilla ice cream. The drink has a lot of ice and the vanilla ice cream quickly overwhelms the coffee flavor, making it quite weak in taste. The vanilla ice cream used is lactose-free. That's all.

Two days ago, yesterday, and today, I had bread for lunch. Of course, rice is good too, but bread is delicious, right! The bread I had two days ago was this. Subway's "Subway Club". It's a slightly luxurious sandwich with roast beef, turkey, and roast ham in it. What? You don't really know what roast beef and turkey are? That's rude. Because this is the "Vegetable MAX". Last time, there was a customer who ordered "Vegetable MAX", and I decided to do the same next time. When asked if it was the vegetable limit, I nodded vigorously. With so many vegetables (and crunchy ones!) in it, the visual volume is amazing, right? Calm down the overflowing vegetables, press them tightly with bread, wrap them in wax paper, and eat. Of course, there is bread and meat in it, but the overwhelming presence of vegetables makes you feel refreshed after eating. A sense of satisfaction or accomplishment, like "I ate vegetables!" Happiness is also MAX (lol). The oven-baked potato was also deliciously fluffy! My mother, who came with me, had a BLT with a regular amount of vegetables, and she said it was the first time she had eaten so many vegetables in a meal and she liked it the most in recent meals. It would be perfect if the eat-in space in the store was a little larger (lol).

At Subway, when ordering a sandwich, I usually choose either "Wheat" or "Honey Oat" bread, ask for it to be toasted first, and request the vegetables to be at the maximum amount (except for onions, which I prefer in a normal quantity). For dressing, I typically go with the "recommended" or "basil" options. I used to like the red wine vinegar dressing, which is no longer available. I also enjoy adding extra ingredients, especially the Turkey Breast which was temporarily removed from the menu. Occasionally, I opt for the "half and half" dressing option or ask for the meat to be placed on the bread before toasting. As for the potato seasoning, I like to mix it up. By becoming a member, I receive coupons for discounted drink or potato sets, which led me to try the oven-baked potatoes for the first time. They were crispy on the outside and delicious. I also appreciate the member card with a cash charge function, where I always add an extra bonus amount. In addition to sandwiches, the Chofu store sells pound cakes and soft cookies by the register, all of which I found to be tasty, especially the Yuzu & Sour Cream pound cake and the Carrot & Apple pound cake.

This spring, a Subway store opened on the first floor of "Chofu Parco." I have visited a few times already, but this is my first review. I love Subway sandwiches. When I found out they were opening in Chofu, I was so happy. I love their sandwiches because they are packed with vegetables. My son is not a big fan of vegetables, so when my husband and I want a light lunch, we usually get takeout. My favorite is the roast beef sandwich. I always think about trying something different, but I always end up getting the same thing. This time, my husband got the teriyaki chicken sandwich. He always tries something different. Even though the sandwiches are packed with vegetables, you can also add extras like tomatoes, pickles, and olives, which is a nice service. It's great that you can customize your sandwich to your liking. You can also choose the type of bread, which is a plus. I don't usually try new things, but it's perfect when I feel like I need a bit more vegetables. I always enjoy my sandwiches. Thank you for the meal.

On April 21st, a Subway opened in the location where the greengrocer used to be on the 1st floor of Parco! (The greengrocer has been relocated) Subway is known for serving plenty of vegetables, so it seemed like a perfect choice for a slightly heavy lunch today. The interior of the store was surprisingly small, with only 4 counter seats and 3 two-person tables. The ordering counter was also quite cramped, causing a line to extend outside the store and block the trash can, making it a bit inconvenient. I ordered the new Subway Club set and sat down to take a breather. This time (well, actually always), I added extra vegetables, so the contents were overflowing. (laughs) I chose sesame bread. For side dishes, I got the spicy barbecue oven potato and Pepsi Nex. The Subway Club includes roast beef, ham, and chicken breast, a luxurious version. The roast beef was thinly sliced but had a strong beef flavor. The ham and chicken breast might have been overshadowed by the roast beef's taste. (^^;) Thanks to the extra crunchy vegetables, it was light and easy to eat, but I thought a bit more dressing would make it even better. The oven potato had a soft texture. With plenty of vegetables in the sandwich, eating fried potatoes didn't feel as guilty. (laughs) Since there are few seats, it's more of a style to eat quickly and leave rather than spending leisurely. Therefore, takeout is recommended over dining in. I noticed another customer ordering "vegetable MAX," which apparently doubles the amount of vegetables, so I'll try that next time. It seems that if you order "without bread," it becomes a "salad."
