I entered the restaurant around 2 p.m. on a weekday. It was crowded! Luckily, I managed to snag a seat by the window which happened to be vacant. It's packed even past lunchtime on weekdays, indicating it's a popular spot. I chose the Fraisier from the cake set. Opting for the set was a good deal. The Fraisier was large and quite filling. However, the custard cream was rather heavy, making it a bit challenging to finish. I prefer lighter cream. The strawberry slices were beautifully arranged and looked appetizing. I enjoyed my time sipping tea. Itadakimasu!

In September 2023, the lingering summer heat is intense this year. As I was organizing old photos, I realized that our family tends to travel most during this September long weekend. With our senior advisor being a student now, I thought we might have a bit more freedom, but it turns out there are still classes even on holidays. So, this year it's Kichijoji for us. There are fewer people walking around the streets on Saturdays than usual. Being able to stroll through Kichijoji from the morning is a privilege for locals. The gradually refreshing autumn breeze feels delightful. We bought some sweets, and enjoyed them deliciously the next day. The sweets have a refreshing taste with just the right amount of saltiness. With work getting busy from this autumn onwards, I'll visit again when things calm down. Thank you for the meal.

A stylish lunch spot in Kichijoji with a fashionable price range. Many elegant ladies were present. It would be nice to have more variety in the bread selection. The main dish in the photo is corn soup, and the rice is delicious. The cost performance is stylish, so I give it 3 stars!

The ambiance, staff service, prices, and food taste are all excellent, which is why I've visited many times. Prices range from about 1500 to 1800 yen for a main dish, bread, and drink. The lunch comes with bread that you can also buy from the bakery section on the first floor, with about 3 to 4 delicious options available. You can even get seconds of bread, and they might offer different varieties from your first serving. No matter what main dish you choose, you can't go wrong. I'll definitely be returning.

There were about three lunch options, priced around ¥1800 each. The presentation was beautiful, which got me excited. It was a bit hard to describe the seasoning of the salmon and scallop quinoa salad. I noticed there was cilantro in it, which I'm not a fan of, but I managed to enjoy it until the end. Squeezing lime over it made it light and refreshing. The zucchini gratin served in a zucchini shell was also delicious. The interior of the restaurant had a calming atmosphere with green and white tones. It was enjoyable to see the kitchen through the glass, watching them prepare the food. I couldn't have the cake this time, so I definitely plan to come back for it next time.

In 2023, there is a patisserie and boulangerie with two locations in Kichijoji and Kyoto. In France, it's common to find cakes alongside bread in bakeries, and this place exudes French charm throughout. They specialize in unique French bread, which I adore. This time, I bought both bread and cakes.
[Pain Suisse (¥450)] - A regional French bread, a weekend specialty here. Made with croissant dough instead of the usual brioche, it's rich with custard cream and chocolate chips, offering a delightful melt-in-your-mouth experience.
[Brioche Nanterre (¥340)] - Another traditional French bread, a variation of brioche. It's rich with butter and eggs, with a soft texture and a generous use of grass-fed butter.
[Chantilly Melon (¥650)] - A melon shortcake with mascarpone cream. The cream is light, and the melon is fresh and gently sweet. The hint of verbena adds a refreshing touch to the whole.
[Zephyr (¥650)] - This cake screams summer, combining passion fruit, mint, lemon, and grapefruit for a refreshing flavor profile. While it's refreshing overall, the mousse felt a bit subdued.
Having tried both bread and cakes, I feel this place truly shines as a boulangerie. While the cakes are delicious, the bread showcases their dedication to incorporating regional specialties, particularly evident in their wheat flour selection. Personally, I find the bread lineup more enjoyable.

The shop I wanted to visit when I came to Kichijoji wasn't crowded on weekdays, which was nice. The éclair with a crispy surface had a light and fluffy chocolate cream inside, with a pleasantly refined taste that wasn't too sweet. The tea had a delightful aroma and depth of flavor, and I enjoyed it very much.

It's a very stylish and delicious café. I really liked it a lot. On the first floor, I leisurely looked at cakes and then went up to the second floor, which is the tea room. I sat comfortably by the window, gazing outside and contemplating slowly. Today, I decided to order the seasonal fruit cake called "Marie," and I also ordered iced coffee as a set. My wife chose "Zephyr," which is a passion fruit cake with a lemon flavor, and it came with iced tea. It was absolutely fantastic. Both cakes were incredibly delicious. The staff were also very kind.

In Kichijoji, while there are many cafes, there aren't actually that many places with a wide variety of authentic cakes. This shop is quite rare in that regard. Located on the second floor of a bakery, it has plenty of seating, and the spacious layout between tables is very comfortable. The cake I had on this day was a delightful summer treat with a strong coconut flavor, and I left feeling satisfied.

About an 8-minute walk from Kichijoji Station, this stylish café offers a variety of cakes and has seating on the second floor. Today, I ordered takeout: the Fougasse Bacon Maïs for ¥584 and the Pain L'omont Basil Bacon for ¥270. The Fougasse Bacon Maïs is generously sized with a moist and chewy texture. It's packed with bacon and corn, providing a satisfying bite. The combination of black pepper and cheese adds great flavor. The Pain L'omont Basil Bacon also has a moist and chewy texture, with the fragrance of basil enhancing the taste, perfectly complementing the bacon. Overall, both were incredibly delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Here's a recommended bakery on a journey to explore 100 famous bread shops! ♡
◆Access◆ Not sure about the experience, as we traveled by car.
◆Orders◆ Clockmushu with salmon, mentaiko French croissant, Linzer tart, pangluten, monkey bread, and curry.
◆Impressions◆ The moment each item touched my lips, I exclaimed, "Ah, delicious!" (*′艸`*) Delivering deliciousness intuitively seems like a skillful calculation, especially with the intricate balance of fillings and dough in bread. Yet, this place achieves it! The sweetness of Linzer tart was just right and so delicious. Next time, I want to enjoy it with white wine. Thank you for the feast! ♡

Store Name: Le Belte Patisserie
Location: Kichijoji
Type: Patisserie Bakery Cafe
Visited this stylish and fashionable bakery with friends for a pastry and bread adventure. No nearby parking, so be cautious!
The first floor was filled with a variety of sweets and bread, presenting a chic atmosphere. Although we focused on bread this time, the cakes looked incredibly delicious.
CROQUE-MONSIEUR SAUMON: Salmon croque-monsieur made with homemade béchamel sauce, salmon, and spinach sandwiched between a croissant with melted Gouda cheese on top. Priced at ¥551. Absolutely delicious! After visiting around 90 bakeries, this might be the tastiest sandwich we've had.
Key Curry: Limited edition Key curry using Musashino vegetables. Priced at ¥270.
CROISSANT LINZER: A popular croissant made with French AOP butter, filled with raspberry jam. Priced at ¥497.
Also bought a limited edition mentaiko (spicy cod roe) bread which I forgot the name of, but it was incredibly delicious. They use high-quality mentaiko directly imported from Hakata, and the combination with the bread was surprisingly delightful!
Overall, we were amazed by the deliciousness of everything. Definitely planning to revisit this place!

Located a 10-minute walk from Kichijoji Station, this place is bright, and you can also dine in! The items I bought this time are the Keema Curry, delicious Croissant with Lindt chocolate jam kneaded in - it looks beautiful and adds a touch of elegance to the dining table. Having it for breakfast really lifts your spirits. The Salmon Croque Monsieur is highly recommended and absolutely delicious! The innovative combinations here are just too good! The Mentaiko France (seasonal) is also recommended – it's fantastic! It has mentaiko sandwiched in it, giving a taste as if you're eating mentaiko pasta. Everything is incredibly tasty! I want to try all the varieties of bread! Although there were cakes lined up tempting me, I ended up with a lot of bread from my bread exploration, so I couldn't have any cakes. I've been to various bakeries, but I really like this one. Whenever I go to Kichijoji, I definitely plan to visit!

Summer limited edition sweets "Oranje Fresh" carbonated jelly is addictive! I got hooked last year and went to Kichijoji after a long time without hesitation. Although it's mainly orange-flavored, it's a sophisticated and stimulating sweet with various flavors harmoniously combined. I wish I could eat it all summer long (´ω`) It's so delicious! I also bought a few of my usual bread items, and it came out to a little over 4,000 yen. It's definitely worth more than the price!

Basic cakes had more variety, but this time I only bought bread. The interior of the shop was bright and refreshing. Perhaps it's just for this season, but they offered complimentary iced tea. It's the little things like this that unexpectedly bring joy. Captivated by their colors and solid shapes, I selected the Pan Paysan and mini baguettes, along with the Croissant Japon. They lived up to their appearance; both the Paysan and baguettes were flavorful and delicious. There was a scent of flour, a subtle sweetness, hints of salt, and perhaps due to the use of leaven, a touch of acidity. They had a satisfying texture, allowing one to feel content with just the right amount. Microwaved, they turned soft; toasted, they became crispy. They go well with jam, ham, or anything else. As for the Croissant Japon, I think the name comes from using domestically produced butter, or so the staff mentioned. It was sweet with a strong buttery flavor. When it cools down, I might try their cakes next time.

Located about an 8-minute walk from JR Kichijoji Station, this bakery catches your eye with its predominantly glass exterior, giving it a bright and welcoming vibe. The second floor doubles as a cozy café for dining in. I purchased two items: the Pangurumon Basil Bacon priced at 270 yen and the Sesame at 216 yen. The Basil Bacon features plenty of diced bacon with just the right amount of saltiness complemented by the aroma of basil. The Sesame bread is generously coated inside and out with sesame seeds, offering a delightful flavor profile. It would pair excellently with cheese.

Utilized it for lunch in Kichijoji. Cakes and bread seem to be famous here. Since I was hungry, I had bread - a mango croissant and a tandoori chicken bun. Both are of high quality. The croissant, famous here, is a high-quality one with a buttery aroma, and the mango sauce overflowing made it very delicious. I would like to try others as well. [Tabelog Rating Criteria] ☆3.5: If there is an opportunity when I'm nearby, I would like to visit again. ☆3.6-3.7: I want to go again. ☆3.8-3.9: Definitely want to go again. ☆4.0-: Fantastic restaurant. I'll decide based on my personal preferences, considering taste, atmosphere, service, menu, cost performance, etc.

I tried the "Tarte Citron" at Liberté Pâtisserie Boulangerie in Kichijoji, Tokyo, which offers a taste of delicious daily life in Paris. The lemon tart had a strong citrus flavor with rich cream, making it a perfect choice for hot weather. The place has a shop on the first floor and a café on the second floor, with a spacious and serene atmosphere decorated in white. It's ranked in the top 5000 on Tabelog, known for delicious bread, and even featured Honda Tsubasa visiting on YouTube. This place is full of charm and highlights, leaving me curious about what dish I'll encounter next! 🤔♀️♂️

I stumbled upon this place and it was a big hit. It's now one of my favorite cafes. They have a wide variety of cakes and bread, all delicious. While you can get takeaway on the first floor, I recommend relaxing in the eat-in space on the second floor. They open at 10 am on weekends and 9 am on weekdays, so it's great for a morning visit. In addition to bread and cakes, they also serve lunch from 11 am, and the food is also delicious. On this day, I entered around 10 am on Sunday, had some bread, and stayed until lunchtime to have lunch as well. It gets quite busy around lunchtime, so it's best to arrive early. You can have as many refills of the bread that comes with lunch as you like. The interior is a stylish space with a white theme, and it's comfortable, but in summer, the air conditioning is quite strong, so it can be chilly.
juck.

I received a roast beef sandwich and an almond croissant♪ The roast beef sandwich has a creamy flavor and a healthy touch, which isn't bad, but I feel like it could be more adventurous with a harder bread and a stronger meat presence. Chicken or ham would work better with the healthy aspect, as beef seems to fade away a bit. Overall, the deli options seem to have room for improvement... The almond croissant is just as it should be, with a gentle and rich sweetness♪ The fruit syrup and almond sweetness, along with the sweetness in the layers, are well balanced and nicely executed overall♪ It seems like focusing more on sweetness would be a good idea here (^_^;)

I visited this shop in search of delicious bread as part of my quest to explore the top 100 bakeries! Liberté Pâtisserie is located a short walk from Kichijoji Station. The second floor serves as a café, so you can also enjoy sitting in. This time, I tried their bread, but their cakes look delicious too. I'd love to visit again if I get the chance!
