いちごう-2
The era has already changed to Reiwa, and it has been over a month. Time flies, and it's already June, the sixth month of the year. As we get older, time seems to pass by quickly (bitter smile). On a Sunday, the two "Pitopito Seijin" [Pitopito aliens], Ichigou and Nigou, decided to have breakfast at a buffet and took a little trip (about 10 km from home) to "Cocos Tokyo Inn." They are humming along to the song "Oyomesanba" by Hiroshi Itsuki playing on the car radio. By the way, where should we celebrate our wedding anniversary this year!?
**Interior:**
Located a 1-2 minute walk from JR Toei Asakusa Line Magome Station. The restaurant is on the first floor of Tokyo Inn along the heavily trafficked Route 1, also known as the Second Keihin. The restaurant seems to also serve as a breakfast venue for hotel guests, as it has a typical family restaurant setup and is almost full. We were lucky to find an available booth seat.
**Smoking Policy:**
All seats are non-smoking. Smokers can use the smoking room near the entrance.
**Today's Orders:**
- Morning buffet x2: 780 yen each
**Additional Notes:**
It seems like the number of staff is insufficient, as popular items like salad, corn soup, scrambled eggs, and pork sausage were not promptly replenished. However, if you ask the staff, they will prioritize the replenishment. It's a common issue with cost-cutting measures in chain operations. The menu includes items like croquettes, shishamo, and meatballs, which are cost-effective. The ingredients and rice can be used for the lunch menu later. They also have a self-service waffle station and popular croissants, catering to families with young children. There are also drink bars and curry available. Overall, for 780 yen (excluding tax), they are doing a good job.
"Don't go, Oyomesanba, women are always a mystery♪♪, Don't go, Oyomesanba, don't be alone♪♪" Don't worry, Nigou will always be by your side!! Pitopito, Pitopito.
