I arrived at 11:21 and sat at the counter. I ordered the Standard Pork Rib Loin Cutlet Set 165g for 1650 yen, and a Mini Menchi Katsu for 200 yen. The set includes tonkatsu, menchi katsu, shredded cabbage, rice, miso soup, and pickles. It's nice that the cabbage and tonkatsu are served on separate plates. The dressing on the cabbage does not touch the tonkatsu. The crispy coating is a light brown color and crunchy. The meat is moist and juicy, made with delicious pork from Chiba prefecture. The fatty part has a sweet taste. The cabbage is finely shredded, cold, and moist. The extra effort put into it makes it delicious. The rice is cooked perfectly. The menchi katsu is juicy and sweet. Overall, it's a satisfying lunch.

- Thick-cut pork loin: ¥2,350
- Tube-fried pork fillet: ¥2,150
- Draft beer: ¥650
The pork used is of a standard quality. Both the loin and fillet are fried well. While they may not have the trendy rare and juicy feel, you can taste the deliciousness of the pork directly. The crispy coating stimulates the appetite. The rice is also delicious with each grain standing out. The red miso with a hint of sansho pepper is also delicious. And the cabbage is unusually delicious. It is finely shredded, easy to eat, crunchy, and fresh. When paired with citrus ponzu, it's almost like slurping noodles, making it easy to eat. The side dishes are served promptly and can also be enjoyed as beer snacks. A highly satisfying lunch in Roppongi. Thank you for the meal.

A super delicious tonkatsu restaurant in Roppongi Hills. I visited after a long time. I ordered the 160g rib roast. As expected, with 160g, the meat is thick and juicy. For those who love juicy fatty meat when it comes to tonkatsu, I highly recommend the rib roast.

On Sunday, just past 11 o'clock, there was no wait, and the restaurant was still quite empty. By noon, it was full. I had the pork cutlet fillet set meal today, made with pork from Yamagata. The wait time was a bit long, but the meat itself was flavorful. The sweetness of the meat was enhanced by the salt. I still prefer the sauce and mustard. The meat remained crispy until the last bite. The crunchy texture of the cabbage was good. The rice was slightly firm and both were delicious. The red miso soup with seaweed was thick and sometimes included stems, which was also delicious. It was a very satisfying set meal. Thank you for the meal.

It was delicious! The tonkatsu was tasty, but compared to other famous tonkatsu restaurants, the cost performance might be a bit lacking. I've been curious about the main store in Nishi-Azabu for a while, so I wonder if it's even better there? As a famous store, I hope they put in a little more effort, especially since the location is really good. It was funny that the backrest of the chair looked like a pig's nose. Haha.

On a regular day around 1 PM, there were about 8 people in line, and I waited for about 15 minutes. This popular restaurant always has a line, but I think the turnover is good. The pork cutlet is soft and delicious. I have a favorite famous pork cutlet shop, and I often find other places to be a bit lacking in comparison, but I was satisfied with the juiciness of the pork and the crispiness of the coating at Tonkatsu Shokudo. You can get free refills of rice and cabbage. The cabbage is fresh and sweet, and they gladly bring out refills quickly. The prices are reasonable, and the interior is bright and clean. They accept credit cards for payment.

The restaurant "Riburo Katsu" has many overseas customers, probably because it must be featured somewhere. While waiting, I thought about that. The pork cutlet has about a quarter of fatty meat, but it is very delicious with a strong sweetness. I recommend eating it with salt, but soy sauce is also good! They will give it to you if you ask. The sauce makes the richness of the fatty meat stand out even more. The rice is free for seconds, cooked to a firm texture, which I like. It has a sweetness to it. I want to visit again if there is no line. The price is not cheap, but for this taste, it must be a premium brand.

I went out to watch a movie and stopped by for tonkatsu to fill my stomach. Some of the places I wanted to go to were not available at the time, so I visited this restaurant that is open all day. I ordered the premium loin and fillet. The meat was undeniably delicious. The breading was also crispy and very tasty. However, I can't help but feel that the main store in Nishi-Azabu was even more delicious.

This was my first time at this branch of the Butagumi restaurant. I used to go to the one along the corridor before, but it has been several years since I last visited. Overall, I think the food is good, but not exceptionally delicious. However, the convenience of being able to easily visit is a plus point.

[Interview background] Visited the restaurant after watching a movie in the morning. I saw it introduced on YouTube and knew I had to come. [Location] Located on the B2 floor of Roppongi Hills Metro Hat, a few minutes walk from Roppongi Station. There are escalators leading down to the Hills, making it easy to access the restaurant without getting lost. [Crowdedness] Visited just before noon on a weekday, around 10 to 15 people were waiting in line due to lunchtime. There were also many foreign tourists in the area. Waited for about 15 minutes and got a seat at the counter. [Atmosphere] The restaurant has an open kitchen as the centerpiece, with counter seats near the entrance and table seats in the back. The open kitchen is not fully visible, but you can see them cooking at certain points, providing a sense of reassurance. The overall modern and relaxed atmosphere, along with the cleanliness and spaciousness of the counter seats, allowed for a leisurely dining experience. [Ordered meal] Ordered the Premium Lunch Rib Roast (165g/2,580 yen). [Meal impression] Enjoyed the tonkatsu with two options: salt and sauce. The recommendation to start with salt was spot on, as it maximized the crispiness of the coating and the tenderness and sweetness of the meat. The difference between the rib roast and other cuts may not be apparent without comparison, but the focus on quality ingredients ensures a unique and delicious experience regardless. While the sauce was tasty, it slightly compromised the crispiness of the coating, so personally, I found an 8:2 or 7:3 ratio of salt to sauce to be ideal. The unlimited rice, miso soup, and cabbage refill service, a staple of tonkatsu restaurants, was also appreciated. The efficient and considerate service from the staff made the dining experience even more enjoyable. If there's one improvement to suggest, it would be the rice. Though tasty, it lacked a bit of gloss and felt slightly clumpy, so enhancing the rice would elevate the overall tonkatsu experience. [Repeat decision] Definitely coming back for the addictive crispy coating. Next time, I'd like to try the standard, thick-cut, and fillet options as well.

The cost-effective lunch menu on weekends and holidays at the restaurant on the 2nd floor of Roppongi Hills has ended. Rice and cabbage refills are now available. The crispy coating of the tonkatsu is satisfying and distinctive. It's delicious to eat the tonkatsu as it is, or with salt or sauce. Highly recommended.

During lunch, I visited a trendy tonkatsu restaurant in Omotesando Hills. You can choose the type and size of pork for your tonkatsu. The batter is crispy, which is typical for tonkatsu, but there was something different about it. It was a long time since I felt so happy eating tonkatsu. They had a sign saying "no upset stomach," but I didn't experience any discomfort. I even checked out the pig footprints on the table.

I had some business in Roppongi and decided to have lunch near Roppongi Hills. I felt like eating tonkatsu, so I chose this restaurant. I arrived after 11:00 and there were already two groups inside. I received an explanation of the menu and ordered the premium pork loin cutlet. The kitchen was in the center and you could see where they fried the cutlets. The pork cutlet was thick, tender, and had a sweet and delicious fat. The service was also good, with the staff attentively looking after all the customers.

A restaurant located in Roppongi Hills. Visited alone at 11:48. Almost full, but managed to sit at counter seat 14. Ordered the Standard Rosukatsu 110g for 1200 yen. Cabbage was served with water, and refills were allowed. Frying time was about 5 minutes, no steaming. The frying seemed a bit too sweet, so they heated the knife with oil and pressed it against the cut surface. The katsu arrived at 11:56. The issue was with the cabbage - the dressing was not great. Even when I tried to use sauce instead, it was too strong. As for the tonkatsu itself, the frying was too sweet and lacked flavor. What a waste.

A restaurant located on the B2F floor of Roppongi Hills where you can enjoy a quick and delicious tonkatsu. Operated by Grace Co., Ltd., led by Takayuki Kuniyoshi, a tonkatsu specialist. There are a total of 4 directly managed stores (Buta Gumi Shokudo, Nishi-Azabu Buta Gumi, Nishi-Azabu Jo, Jo Otemachi), and this store opened in April 2013. The location of the store is in Roppongi Hills Metro Hat B2F. The nearest station is a 2-minute walk from Roppongi Station. The business hours are 11:00-16:00 for lunch (last order 15:30) and 17:00-23:00 for dinner (last order 22:30), with no regular holidays. There are 34 seats mainly at the counter. Reservations are accepted by phone only. The ordered menu item is Rib Roast Cutlet (165g) Premium Brand Pork. Rice and cabbage are free for refills. There are 4 types of premium brand pork, and the brand varies depending on the day: Kagoshima Prefecture's Pure Black Pork (Berkshire breed), Mie Prefecture's Matsusaka Pork (China Japan breed), Iwate Prefecture's Shirogane Pork (Landrace x Large Yorkshire x Berkshire - three-way pork), Gifu Prefecture's Natto-eating Pork (Landrace x Large Yorkshire x Duroc - three-way pork). The tonkatsu is fairly orthodox and consistently delicious. There are no particularly noteworthy points, but it is recommended when you want to eat a quick tonkatsu nearby. [Order] Rib Roast Cutlet (165g) Premium Brand Pork 2,580 yen

The summer tradition of Roppongi Hills, the "Roppongi Gourmet Burger Grand Prix 2023," is currently underway! The first contender is the "Luxury Pork Tonkatsu Burger Rolling Thunder" from the pork group restaurant. This tonkatsu burger combines the fine marbling and melt-in-your-mouth texture of Mangalitsa pork with the rich umami flavor of Duroc pork. Despite not being pounded, the meat is tender and pairs perfectly with the buns and cabbage. Enjoy this exquisite tonkatsu sandwich with the special sauce for a top-notch dining experience. The sweet and sour pickled tomatoes make a perfect palate cleanser after indulging in the rich tonkatsu. Delicious!

Hidden in a corner of Hills, there is a famous tonkatsu restaurant! Upon a friend's recommendation, I decided to try it out. Being a commoner, I couldn't afford the brand-name pork or premium pork, so I ordered the standard 220g thick-cut loin. The tonkatsu was prepared meticulously right in front of me at the counter, taking its time to fry to perfection. The crispy coating and juicy meat, fried in fresh oil, really brought out the flavor of the ingredients. Following the manual, I first tried it with rock salt and then with the special sauce and mustard. It was such a happy moment. The rice and lettuce, which are common in tonkatsu restaurants, were refillable, which was a nice touch. I used to have multiple refills in the past, but now one refill is my limit. I thought I could easily finish it all, but I was completely satisfied and full after just one serving. It was delicious. I look forward to trying the brand-name pork and visiting the Nishi-Azabu branch next time! Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I visited Tonkatsu Shokudo, which is directly connected to Roppongi Station, right before the end of their lunch service on a weekday! It's always crowded during lunchtime, but I was able to get a seat without waiting by going at a slightly different time. Before the pork cutlet, I was eating cabbage with fruit dressing, and it disappeared in no time haha. The main dish, the pork loin, is served with salt instead of sauce, a truly authentic way to enjoy the flavor of the pork! The miso soup was also delicious with red miso, just the way I like it. Rice and cabbage are free for refills, and the portion size is just right. Great value for the price. Definitely a place I want to visit again!

I opted for the standard fillet instead of the more expensive option, but it was delicious! The coating was not greasy, and it was crispy like eating a rusk. I also tried a bite of my husband's loin, which was sweet and not greasy, and very tasty. It is recommended to try it first without anything, then with salt, and finally with sauce, but my favorite was definitely with salt. Using sauce seemed to mask the delicious taste of the tonkatsu. I would like to visit the main branch next time.

This is a tonkatsu restaurant in Roppongi Hills. The tonkatsu, which is eaten with salt, is very delicious. The set includes tonkatsu, cabbage, side dishes, rice, miso soup with red dashi, and pickles. There is also sauce available so you can enjoy two different flavors. I ended up getting a second helping of rice because it was so good.

【Order】Melimero Mini Menchi Katsu Premium Brand Pork Rib Roast (Matsusaka Pork from Mie Prefecture) with Japanese Sake
【Price】Around 3500 yen
