I stopped by after visiting the "Kurayami Festival" in Fuchu. My daughter said she wanted to eat at "31 Ice Cream." We visited on Friday (a holiday) at 4:37 PM. There were only a few people in line, so we were able to order quickly. You specify the size of the ice cream (small or regular), the number (1 or 2), and whether you want a cone or cup when ordering. I wonder when was the last time I had 31 Ice Cream. Actually, I don't think I've ever had it before. The kids said they had it a few times at their after-school program. I had a small double cone with vanilla and matcha. It cost 510 yen. It's nice to have this kind of treat once in a while. There was a bench in front of the shop, which would have been nice to sit on, but unfortunately, it was full, so we ate standing in front of the shop. The kids seemed satisfied. It was a good experience. Thank you for the meal.

Kururu, a commercial facility in front of Fuchu Station. On the first floor, there is an ice cream specialty store, Baskin-Robbins. Due to its location, there are many customers with children. The small size ice cream here costs 280 yen including tax, and PayPay is also accepted. The limited flavor for January 2021 is "New York Cheesecake," which has a hint of acidity. At the same time, the sweetness typical of Baskin-Robbins ice cream is also present. There were cookie-like pieces inside, adding a nice texture. It was delicious.

I went to Baskin-Robbins Furukawa Kururu store because I wanted to eat ice cream on a hot day. There are many flavors to choose from, but I decided to go with my favorite classic, Jamoca Coffee. I ordered a single scoop in a cone and it was delicious as always. The taste hasn't changed since I was young. I also like flavors like chocolate and mint chocolate chip. On a Friday evening in April 2017, my wife, elementary school daughter, and I went to a popular ice cream shop. Our main goal was to take advantage of the "SUPER! FRIDAY" promotion offering a free regular single cone with a coupon displayed on our phone. The line was quite long, but it moved quickly and we didn't have to wait too long. We got one regular single cone for free (I can't remember the flavor), and purchased another one to share on a bench outside the shop. We had a great time and plan to go back next Friday!

This Baskin-Robbins is located on the 1st floor of the commercial facility "Kururu" connected to the south exit of Keio Line Fuchu Station. It is just a few minutes walk from the station. On holidays, it is crowded with families with children, making it a popular spot for sweet treats for the people of Fuchu. There are benches in front of the shop, and when they are available, we sit here and enjoy our ice cream. Since moving to Fuchu City, whenever I want to treat my daughter to ice cream near Fuchu Station, I come here, or to McDonald's Fuchu store, or to the food court on the 1st floor of Forus. One Friday evening in November 2016, I invited my wife after work and we stopped by together. Rather than just stopping by, we rushed to join the queue for "SUPER! FRIDAY" holding our smartphones with the coupon for "1 free regular single cone" displayed. My wife and I chose the "Jamoca Coffee". This Jamoca Coffee, which boasts a "genuine coffee ice cream using drip-style coffee", had a sophisticated flavor.

When you enter from the entrance near the Jupiter Coffee on the first floor of Kururu, there is an ice cream chain store from the United States that operates alongside the Fujikyū Fuchū Kururu store. They are famous for offering a 31% discount on double cups and double cones (cups or cones with two flavors of ice cream stacked vertically) on the 31st and March 1st, in reference to their Japanese store name "31". I visited during a period of consecutive holidays in late April to early May in 2013, and for some reason, there was a 31% off sign displayed at the store, so I had a small double cup. I tried the new flavors at the store, but didn't like them, so I chose the standard menu flavors of chocolate mint and banana and strawberry. Chocolate mint is a popular flavor with a certain number of followers, so it goes without saying, but banana and strawberry perfectly complement each other with the sweet and sourness of the strawberry enhancing the sweetness of the banana. If you frequent "31" but don't choose this, especially those who ask, "Is that good?" I do not recommend it. Please be satisfied with anything other than this delicious flavor.

After eating "Fuchu Moriage Soba" at Seian, I had dessert at Baskin Robbins♪ The first floor of the store is bustling with families and young couples. Baskin Robbins has different prices depending on the location and sales conditions of the store. Here, a single scoop costs 320 yen and a double scoop costs 400 yen. If you order a double scoop, you get an extra one! I ordered a small double scoop in a cup. I chose my favorite flavor and a new flavor to go on top. I went for the standard flavors, Nuts to You and Azuki Red Bean, and added Orange Cheesecake on top. The top scoop is Nuts to You, with a crunchy texture from five types of nuts. A classic for nut lovers. Next is Orange Cheesecake, with small cheesecake pieces about 1cm square. The refreshing scent of orange is perfect for early summer. At the bottom is Azuki Red Bean, with plenty of carefully selected red beans. Oops, I should have put Nuts to You at the bottom instead. I should have thought about the order of eating when ordering a triple scoop.

I went to Baskin-Robbins in Fuchu Kururu because I really wanted to eat ice cream that day. From April 27th to May 8th, they were having a campaign offering 31% off to support the recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake. I ordered a Small Double (from \400 to \275) with my favorite Rocky Road and ultimately chose Rum Raisin. It had been a while since I last had it, but it was still delicious. Families with children and groups of friends were enjoying their ice cream on the long bench outside the shop. I always end up choosing the same flavors, but one day, I hope to try all the different flavors...

It goes without saying, but this is the Kururu store of the world-famous ice cream chain with 5800 stores worldwide and over 900 stores in Japan. Due to the "no sweets on Sundays" law in effect since October 2009, my older brothers who have been patiently waiting all week always come here without fail. Surprisingly, despite being a familiar sight to us, this branch of Baskin Robbins is not registered on Tabelog (a popular restaurant review website). Recently, when I went to Seiseki Sakuragaoka, I was shocked to find that the Häagen-Dazs near the ticket gate had disappeared. I searched on my phone and found that there were no ice cream shops listed on Tabelog for Seiseki Sakuragaoka. I wandered around and finally found the Baskin Robbins Seiseki Sakuragaoka store in the square, which was also not registered on Tabelog. This prompted me to take on the mission of ensuring that such "ice cream refugees" like us are not left out, so I decided to register the Fuchu store as well. It was during writing a review for the Seiseki Sakuragaoka store that I realized it's "Baskin Robbins" and not "Baskin Robbins." Unlike the Seiseki Sakuragaoka store, the Fuchu store does not have crepes, which is a bit disappointing. However, there is always a long line on weekends, making it very popular. Come to think of it, there aren't many dessert shops in Fuchu, except for a few in Foris. But as my daughter grows up, I may start posting reviews of such shops more frequently. In March 2010, a reviewer named "Aate" mentioned that they often use Baskin Robbins ice cream cakes for Christmas parties, which stuck with me. So this year, for my daughter's birthday cake, I chose a Snoopy cake from Baskin Robbins. My daughter, who loves both chocolate and ice cream, was overjoyed. She shared the whipped cream with her older brother and happily enjoyed the ice cream herself. Of course, I had some too, and as always, Baskin Robbins ice cream was delicious. It occurred to me that while cakes from cream cake shops need to be reserved in advance or bought early due to their freshness, ice cream cakes are stored frozen, so they are available even in the evening. This could be a useful point to remember for future occasions!

I am located on the first floor of Kururu in front of Fuchu Station. There is a TOHO Cinemas on the 5th floor, so I often stop by before watching a movie. I feel hesitant to bring it to the movie theater, so I end up eating it on the bench on the intermediate floor after buying it! The taste is the same at any Baskin-Robbins, but I always end up ordering classic flavors like mint chocolate chip or rum raisin. (Before going, I always think that I will try a different flavor this time, but when I actually see the showcase, I end up choosing the usual flavors...) I once tried the Triple during a campaign, but I got tired of it in the end, so since then I have been ordering Single or Double. When I order a Double, I enjoy it by choosing one classic flavor and one challenge flavor. However, on Saturdays and Sundays around noon to afternoon, it tends to get quite crowded, so if you plan to go before a movie, please make sure to go with plenty of time to spare.
