Just a 10-second walk from Keio Line Higashi-Fuchu Station, located on the first floor of a building directly connected to the station. I visited for breakfast after finishing my early morning errands! It was after 9 am, so the morning rush of salarymen was over and the place was empty. They have a large L-shaped counter and several table seats, quite spacious. They serve breakfast until 11 am, so I decided to order. The touch panel system is convenient as you don't need to speak out loud. I ordered the Sausage Tamakake Breakfast Set (regular size) for 390 yen including tax. It came with rice, miso soup, egg, seaweed, sausage, and simmered hijiki, which was just right for breakfast. The price is affordable and the quality is great. The egg over rice, sausage, and hijiki were all delicious. While people tend to go for rice bowls, the set meals are also nice here! Don't avoid it just because it's a chain restaurant. Give it a try. Thank you for the meal.

This is Sukiya☆Keio Ritonado Higashi-Fuchu store (lol). Breakfast beef small bowl & egg set meal.... 350 yen. This is my third time at this restaurant. Oh? There's only one reader from Mugei Kosyoku here. Quite a rare situation. Well, today I'm going hiking at Mount Takao (lol). I'll fuel up with a hearty breakfast. It's a more substantial breakfast than I thought. The TKG (raw egg over rice) was also really delicious (lol). Let's do our best! \(^o^)/

Yes. After a very long time, I decided to visit Sukiya. No matter which gyudon chain I go to, I always end up ordering the Negi-tama gyudon. This is my first time trying it at Sukiya. Hmm... I still think I prefer Matsuya's version. Matsuya's has a more consistent feel to it, I think. This one just feels like they slapped on some beef and onions and said, "There you go!" But oh well, it's cheap so it's not bad! (laughs) Thank you for the meal!

For some reason, I mistakenly got off the train at Higashi-Fuchu (;^_^A sorry...). Since I didn't have a proper meal after drinking and had some time until the next train, I decided to stop by here. I had a not-so-good impression the last time I came, so I was a bit hesitant, but since there were no other shops open, I decided to revisit. When I arrived at the shop, a part-time lady was providing customer service, and the atmosphere was brighter compared to before. I sat at the counter and ordered the mini spinach beef curry. It was served in about 3 minutes. - Taste Evaluation - Spinach Beef Curry (Mini) I wasn't really craving curry and beef that much, but I decided to give it a try. The balance between the curry and beef was good, and it was delicious. The addition of spinach added a nice crunchy texture. Even though it was a mini size, the portion was just right for a satisfying meal. - Overall Evaluation - The atmosphere of the shop was good, and it's convenient that they are open 24 hours. The prices are reasonable, making it a great ally for salarymen.

On a weekday in August 2020, a little after noon, I stopped by this Sukiya for lunch by myself. This Sukiya is located right by Keio Line Higashi-Fuchu Station, to be more precise, inside the station building as part of the shopping mall "Keio Ritonaado Higashi-Fuchu". The interior of the restaurant is typical of Sukiya, with counter seats and square tables. The counter seats have partitions between each seat for COVID-19 prevention measures. I sat at a table and ordered the "Gyudon (regular size) lunch set" for 500 yen including tax, which came with gyudon, salad, egg, and miso soup. I paid with PayPay. However, there were only two staff members working, and it felt like they were not able to keep up. It reminded me of the time when "one-person operation" was a hot topic, but even with two people, it seemed very challenging.

This is Sukiya☆Keio Trianode Higashi-Fuchu store. Devil Ontama Mix... 630 yen. This is my second time at this shop. I probably haven't left a review before, but I come here quite often (laughs). This is my second time ordering the Devil Ontama Mix. To be honest, there is too little tempura flakes. The texture is not very interesting (cries). The taste was also unsatisfying. I'll have to try it somewhere else again.

The "Sukiya" restaurant located next to the quiet railroad crossing near the Ritonaard station, which seems to exist only on days when horse racing events are not held, is open 24 hours a day. In addition to the Sukiya, there are other establishments such as a bookstore, a bakery, and a childcare facility, as well as restaurants like Gusto, a Nagasaki ramen shop, an ice cream parlor, and an izakaya. It's a bit lacking in excitement, but I always wonder why there is no TGS here. I wish there was a restaurant like Irori-an at least. I had the "Negi-Tama Gyudon (beef bowl with green onions and egg) in large size for 590 yen" and the pickles set for 120 yen at this unassuming Sukiya. I think it's quite delicious, as the flavor of the beef bowl is to my liking, and the green onions and egg complement it nicely. It must be crowded with people who couldn't get tickets on race days, right? But if they did get tickets, Sukiya probably wouldn't be here, haha. (#^^#)

This is Sukiya☆Keio Trianode Higashi-Fuchu store. Sukiya pilgrimage journey: 21st edition Salted mackerel set meal... 390 yen Good morning (*^^*) I want to post a lot again this year (lol) Well, the first post of the year, I want to start with a Sukiya pilgrimage journey. Just because I'm heading to work this morning, the post will be from the nearest station. Yes, I prepared for this kind of situation. Huh? I have a night shift today so I can't eat out... Oh, the miso soup is piping hot, the best one so far! Thank you for the meal.

There is a chain restaurant near Higashi-Fuchu Station on the Koshu Kaido side. It is open 24 hours a day, serving breakfast menu from 5:00 to 10:30. There are counter seats and table seats available, and orders are taken at the seats. The Tamago Kake Gohan Set (200 yen + tax) includes seasoned seaweed, raw egg, rice, simmered hijiki seaweed, and miso soup. This is a standard Japanese breakfast menu. The seasoned seaweed had the logo of Sukiya on it, but it was just normal seaweed. The miso soup was on the salty side. The rice portion was large, so pouring the egg on top and adding more miso soup might be a good idea (laughs). The rice was cooked on the firm side and not particularly tasty. The hijiki seaweed was also heavily seasoned. Overall, it was just average.

Recently, my son and I have been going out on weekends and stopping by my parents' place for dinner on the way back. Today, my son requested "the slimy dish from Sukiya," so I bought it to take with us. Sukiya offers a mini size, which is convenient for my parents. I bought my portion (with extra rice, of course) at the shop in the station building at Higashi-Fuchu Station. I got the "Yamakake Okura Gyudon" with two types of slimy toppings, but the flavor was a bit lacking with just the beef and sauce. I added a little soy sauce to the grated yam, and it was just right. Next time, I'll try adding an egg too. I'm sure it will be even more delicious.

This chain restaurant is said to be the number one in the gyudon industry. I used to avoid it because it didn't suit my taste, but I decided to give it another try. The location is under the elevated tracks at Keio Line Higashi-Fuchu Station. The exterior is the same as always with the familiar sign. Inside, there are counter seats and tables for families. The staff took our order promptly. The menu offers various toppings for the gyudon and curry options. The staff's service was a bit lackluster, but the food was served quickly. However, the gyudon with curry topping didn't meet my expectations. The beef was dry and the curry lacked flavor. Overall, I feel that this place doesn't live up to the hype of being the industry leader. I think they need to work on improving the taste of their dishes.

11:00 PM on 5/26. I stopped by on my way home. As I mentioned before, I don't eat gyudon here. This time, I went for the maguro tataki don again. It seemed like it was a shift change for the staff as there was a lot of chatter. Maybe it was for training purposes? It caught my attention a bit. The maguro tataki don looked quite different from the menu photo. Is this really okay? I had some doubts. If the ingredients are the same, does it really matter? Thank you for the meal.

Directly connected to Higashi-Fuchu Station, the 1st floor of Keio Litonard Higashi-Fuchu, which opened on October 20th. I tried the seasonal limited menu, Mushroom Peperoncino Beef Bowl (regular size) for 380 yen. The selling point is a new topping beef bowl with 4 types of mushrooms sautéed in Italian style. What kind of taste is it? I was very curious. Since it's a limited time offer, I thought I should try it now, so I went to the store at Keio Litonard Higashi-Fuchu. As it is a new store, the staff seemed inexperienced. The organization was quite bad, but well, it was expected. (I also worked as a staff at a newly opened restaurant during my student days...) Now, the Mushroom Peperoncino Beef Bowl! It's full of autumn flavors and seasonal mushrooms, with a tempting garlic aroma. I hesitated whether to add ginger, but first, I took a bite as it is. Hmm, it's quite good! The garlic is strong, so it might be better to consider the timing of eating it.

Finally, a gyudon (beef bowl) restaurant has opened at Higashi-Fuchu Station, just a 30-second dash from the ticket gate. While Yoshinoya used to be the go-to for gyudon in the past, recently "Sukiya" has been gaining popularity. They have both counter and table seating, making it suitable for groups, and they also offer takeout which is convenient. Furthermore, you can enjoy a bottle of beer with your gyudon for less than 1000 yen, making it budget-friendly. I hope that this kind of restaurant will continue to thrive for a long time. It would be nice if they could add more snacks that pair well with beer though. I revisited in March and even though it was late at night, there were a few customers. I ordered a beer and a medium gyudon set with miso soup. The beer arrived first, but the glass was dirty so I asked for a replacement, which took 2-3 minutes to arrive. By the time it came, the gyudon had already been served. I should have ordered the beer first. The medium size had a good amount of meat and less rice, which was perfect for me. However, in the middle of my meal, I heard a woman at the back yelling at her young child, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. The staff seemed to ignore the situation. Don't we have the right to enjoy our meal in a peaceful environment? Because of this, I am lowering my rating by one star.

Negi-Tama Gyudon for 550 yen. Visited on Sunday at 12:10. The restaurant was full, but my order was ready in just 5 minutes. When I got home, I tried the dish right away. The generous amount of green onions and spicy miso sauce goes really well with the beef bowl. Mixing in a raw egg makes it even more delicious (^O^) It's been a while since I had gyudon, and I like that you can add various toppings.
