The trend of decreasing new COVID-19 infections has reversed about 10 days ago, and the number of new cases has been surpassing the same day of the previous week recently. My fourth vaccine appointment is coming up soon, but it feels like we're stuck in a cycle. I won't say much about this issue as my reviews are currently about a month behind, and the situation may have changed by the time this review is posted. It seems that troublesome issues are not easily resolved. Wars, like the current situation with COVID-19, are caused by people, so it seems like it can be resolved based on human thinking. However, as long as there are people with completely different perspectives, similar to the virus, there may be a lurking malice. I'd like to have a philosophical view that wisdom is born when things don't go well, but I can't feel that way when there are immediate disadvantages. It seems like Tabelog is being distorted in a strange direction by people with various perspectives and a strange sense of competitiveness. This day, I had some minor inheritance-related procedures to do at home in the morning, and I arrived in Jinbocho around 11:10 am. I could have gone to the office first, but I decided to have an early lunch first, and I chose this restaurant that opened in March 2022, located right next to the Jinbocho intersection on Yasukuni Street. This restaurant is a sister store of a hamburger and steak restaurant called "Alcazar Jinbocho" located on Kanda Suzuran Street in Jinbocho. The Kanda Suzuran Street store, according to Tabelog store information, was founded in 2004, so it is a store with nearly 20 years of history, but the management parent company is not well known. However, as sister stores, there are "Alcazar La Chittadella Kawasaki" and "Alcazar Bokujo Gotanda," and looking at the founding year, the Gotanda store is the oldest (February 1998), so it may be the original store. Alcazar means "castle" or "fortress" in Spanish. I always thought that "castillo" meant castle in Spanish, but "Alcazar" seems to be a word of Arabic origin from the Islamic era. In any case, the above three Alcazar stores all have ratings in the 3.4 range on Tabelog, so they seem to be doing quite well as a local chain. This restaurant is located on Yasukuni Street, right next to the A5 exit of Jinbocho Station. The location conditions seem perfect. The store is located on the basement floor of a building (IVY Building), so this point may be a slight disadvantage. Previously, "Tengu Sakaba Jinbocho" was operating in this location. When I went down the stairs, I naturally arrived at the entrance of the restaurant. I entered the restaurant around 11:15 am. The interior of the restaurant had 4-person tables in the space where I entered, with 9 tables and 36 seats. There also seemed to be seating in the space separated by a wall, and the predecessor Tengu Sakaba had a capacity of 82 seats, so although not to that extent, it seemed to have quite a capacity. There were no other customers, and I was seated at a 4-person table. The lunch menu was placed on the table, and unlike the Kanda Suzuran Street store, which leaned towards beef with 100% beef hamburgers and steaks, this restaurant also incorporated pork and chicken dishes into the main menu. The newly added menu items include chicken thigh teriyaki, chicken nanban, pork ginger, and pork steak, incorporating popular pork and chicken dishes. Since I had already tried the hamburger at the Kanda Suzuran Street store, this time I ordered the Pork Steak (using Yonezawa pork loin) 150g for 1,078 yen, which seemed to be a menu unique to this restaurant. Pork steak, like hamburgers and beef steaks, had variations in size, with 150g being the smallest, and above that, 200g 1.
