JR Chuo Line / Keio Inokashira Line Kichijoji Station North Exit is a 5-minute walk away. Inside the store, there is a deep depth, and you can see the sight of a stone mill on the left side continuously grinding matcha. There are 7 table seats and 2 seats remade from tea boxes. The distance between the seats is close, making it hard to relax. Enter the store and choose your favorite seat first. Order and pay at the register. Once ready, the order will be brought to your seat. Matcha Roll Cake (570 yen) is placed on a plate sprinkled with matcha, topped with rose tea petals. Capoon's original matcha sauce is poured over it, dripping down. The roll cake uses matcha in the sponge, cream, and sauce, creating a beautiful green gradient. Every bite exudes the elegant aroma of matcha. The cake is fluffy, and when combined with the cream, it becomes moist. Eating it while mixing with the sprinkled matcha powder around it enhances the strong bitterness of matcha, allowing you to taste more of the matcha flavor. Matcha Cheesecake (680 yen) has an Oreo crust at the bottom. The Oreo tart is sweet and has a crispy texture. The cheesecake is elastic and sticky enough to cling to the fork. The cheesecake itself is sweet, with a refreshing yogurt-like acidity. The sweetness of Oreo and cheesecake, as well as the acidity of the cheese, stand out, while the matcha flavor is subtle. Matcha Latte, less sweet (520 yen), is prepared by whisking matcha upon ordering and served with milk. The freshly ground matcha enhances its aroma. Although it smells of sweet milk, when you drink it, you can taste the matcha flavor and aroma afterwards. On weekdays, around noon, there were no customers initially, but one group arrived after 1 pm. Many people check the menu in front of the store, but few actually enter. Unlike weekends, which are always crowded, I was able to enjoy a leisurely time on weekdays.
