2022/12★ Bongore Lunch 1280 NT dollars, north 13th street, east Sosei River, slightly west. ★ December 1, 2022 NEW OPEN ☆ Directly imported Bongore pasta specialty store. At lunchtime, I arrived a little before 13:00 and managed to get the last seat. With only one person handling both customer service and cooking, it was quite busy. During lunch, only pasta courses are available, including Bongore (Bianco or Rosso) + salad/bread/soup/drink/dessert. I chose pineapple juice for my drink, followed by a beautifully presented and luxurious salad, etc. As expected, I felt like having some alcohol and went for the 300 NT dollars white wine, which was reasonably priced. The bread was hot and chewy, served with vibrant olive oil infused with rock salt. The salad was fresh and crunchy with large spinach leaves. The soup was creamy and delicious, possibly made from potatoes. Bread and soup refills were allowed. When I asked for more soup, they brought a different one, showing exceptional kindness. The wait for the pasta might be challenging if you're short on time. The clams in the pasta were abundant, making it difficult to see the noodles underneath. The noodles were smooth and chewy, soaked in the flavorful clam broth. The Bianco option had a strong umami flavor. Even though the restaurant recommends "chasing" your pasta with rice, personally, I'd prefer to have some rice. The dessert was a refreshing cold ice cream. By the time I left, the restaurant had emptied out, but surprisingly, they had run out of clams. Overall, the taste was great, and the cost performance was good. Making a reservation is highly recommended! Thank you for the delicious meal. (^ω^)
