ION Kwun Tong's underground parking lot, I sometimes get lost there. Some may doubt it, but unfortunately, it's true. Near the ION Kwun Tong store, there's Soup Curry ouchi, which has relocated and reopened under the elevated Kwun Tong Station. Orders are made by scanning QR codes, and I chose the set with half soup curry and Power Salad. The spiciness level, number 4, was free of charge, and I chose the Bindal soup type. Concerned about its influence on the night's activities, I hesitated a bit before eating a full portion, but having a healthy soup curry set available is truly appreciated. On the opening day, I intended to visit Soup Curry ouchi, but as it was nearing 2 p.m., the peak period seemed to have subsided. However, the operation still needed some time to settle down. The soup seemed to have some original elements, with a sweet and sour taste, and while it had richness and umami, I felt that the spiciness at level 4, even though it was the maximum for free, was a bit weak. Considering level 4, I thought even level 5 might not be spicy enough. The ingredients included half-cut potatoes, carrots, pumpkins, bell peppers, halved boiled eggs, slightly thicker cabbage strips, pumpkins, and lightly fried items. The potatoes were moist and sweet, characteristic of delicious Maekin, and overall, the ingredients were well-prepared. Although there was no meat in the half soup curry, the chicken in the Power Salad compensated for it. The Power Salad dressing had a refreshing acidity and was delicious. The long asparagus had a good texture and taste. With oatmeal included, it could replace rice, and the crispy fried lotus roots, purple cabbage, cauliflower, and generous lettuce were satisfying. The steamed chicken was moist with a good salty flavor, making it tasty. I'd like to try the curry at level 10 spiciness for a rematch and would love to have the Power Salad with plenty of vegetables again.
