H28 / January The company was nearby, so I was checking it out, but it didn't feel quite like Edogawabashi, like a cafe or something, so I hesitated to go in until now. However, I had been consulted about the location for the department's New Year's party, so I decided to give it a try. Inside, there were two rows of two-person tables, and they adjusted the seating arrangement based on the number of customers. There was also a counter, but the capacity was around 30 people in total, I guess? In this setup, it can definitely accommodate both small and large groups, so it's convenient. However, there were few places to hang your coat over the seats. Overall, it's clean and the orange lighting creates a calm atmosphere. I think it would be comfortable for women too. The menu mainly focuses on skewers, with items like kawa (skin) and tokimo (liver) starting at 80 yen plus tax, which is reasonable. Other items are mostly between 100 and 150 yen, so it's easy to order. As for drinks, draft beer is 450 yen plus tax, which is okay, but it might feel a bit high compared to recent prices I've seen. However, in this area, the prices for beer at drinking establishments tend to be on the higher side. Hoppy is 500 yen with a set, 200 yen for an extra bottle, and 300 yen for an extra glass... Honestly, I thought this was quite expensive. But I couldn't resist ordering Hoppy when I arrived. And when it arrived, the mystery of the price was solved! The bottle outside, a glass filled with ice, and shochu inside, about half a glass. Ah, so this is how it works here. With this setup, I can probably manage to get three drinks at a regular strength or two drinks if I go for stronger ones. Yeah, I'm satisfied with this price. It's actually quite cheap! For skewers, I ordered kawa, kimo, momo, and shiro, all with sauce. They were a bit on the smaller side, but all of them were cooked perfectly and delicious. I couldn't resist getting more kimo. The salt was also good♪ The sauce had just the right amount of thickness, not too heavy, and I liked it. As a side dish, it might be better if the flavors were stronger, but as a single dish, it's well-executed. We also ordered avocado with wasabi. It was delicious, but it was a daily special, so it wasn't available next time. The appetizer was cabbage. It seems like many restaurants offer this lately. There's an additional 100 yen for refills, but the portion was a bit small, I think. The menu is primarily skewer-focused, so there aren't many options, and it's a typical yakitori place. It would be nice if there were a bit more variety so you wouldn't get bored... They don't have sashimi or deep-fried dishes, for the most part. However, if you're in the mood for yakitori, it's a pretty good place. I think I'll include it in my rotation for the future. In the end, we decided to have our New Year's party here. The manager's service was also excellent. Thank you very much. ------------------------ H28 / April I've been here a few more times since then. Occasionally, they have group reservations, so there are times when you can't get in, but it can't be helped. As for today's menu, there are still many hits. The atsuage with meat miso makes for a great side dish. I wonder if they changed the menu a bit? There was also caramel naka ice and other items. The steamed chicken and ginger salad were also delicious. This time, I'll add a photo of the kimo (liver) for reference. Thank you for the meal.
