"Paradise Rock Kunitachi Branch @ Kunitachi City, Tokyo @ Izakaya (Takeout) There was a perception among friends who know Kunitachi well that it was a delicious izakaya that didn't quite match its name. However, as I happened to park my car in the neighboring parking building and started walking, I noticed a bento (boxed meal) stand by the roadside. This late-night izakaya is located on the 4th floor of a 5-story building on the left side as you head towards the Times parking building from JR Chuo Line Kunitachi Station North Exit Rotary. They were selling takeout bento and side dishes like karaage (fried chicken) in front of the road, in front of the Yakiniku Kyoseien restaurant. The saleswoman was extremely friendly, and I couldn't help but be drawn to the delicious-looking items on display and her demeanor. I was tempted by the bento as well, but I refrained from buying it today because I had already purchased from another store. Karaage: ¥500 Chicken Katsu: ¥400 The karaage was excellent, just as it looks. The seasoning was well done, and even when it cooled down, the skin remained crispy and delicious. The chicken katsu was made with tender and thick chicken breast meat and topped with onion and egg, also very delicious. I imagine their bento must be delicious as well. I'd like to try it soon. I didn't dine in this time, as I only bought side dishes, but from other reviews, it seems like a cozy place.
