"池袋×ハンバーガー" is a cafe on the 12th floor of Seibu LOFT in Ikebukuro. Although I often visit LOFT, I rarely go to the 12th floor. I wasn't even aware there was a restaurant there. It's a quiet, open cafe tucked away near the elevator and cash register. It seems to be a sister restaurant to "[まるなか食堂]" on the rooftop of Ikebukuro Seibu. The menu mainly features hamburgers, but they also serve omurice, curry, drinks, and more.
I went there on a weekday around 6:30 PM. There were two groups of customers before me, and it seemed like there was only one male staff member handling everything. Despite a few customers coming in one after the other, they took our orders promptly, but we were told it might take a bit of time. I wanted to try the "ランプレドットバーガー," but unfortunately, it was sold out. So, I ended up ordering the ✦ Avocado Tomato Burger (935 yen) ✧ Double Food Set (Medium Size / 616 yen), which allowed me to choose between potato or nuggets and a drink. I chose potato and iced tea.
At the self-service counter for prepayment, we were given a vibrating buzzer and had to wait for about 20 minutes. When I received my Avocado Tomato Burger, I intended to give the tomato to my companion, but wait...? (・∇・) There's no tomato? I showed it to my companion, and they said, "There are tomatoes in there." Well, no, that's ketchup! (laughs) I didn't want to bother the busy staff by asking for a remake, so I just ate it as it was.
The burger buns seemed quite ordinary, like something you'd find at a bakery. The patty seemed to be a mix of ground meats. Though the cafe isn't a place you'd specifically go for hamburgers, it's a hidden gem as a cafe, and they have counter seats, making it a comfortable option for solo diners. Thanks for the meal ☆
