"Jentoru Men Nakajima Branch" It was my first time drinking in Muroran, and we started late, so it ended up being the fourth stop. Yome-san had her eye on the "Curry Ramen" from the beginning. I don't have much interest in a restaurant with a name like "Jentoru Men Nakajima Branch." Many people I know have been there, but I don't have a good impression of Muroran's Curry Ramen, so I'm not interested at all. Well, I guess I'm pretending to be a nice guy. I don't have a good impression at all, but recently I found out from Mocha-chan's review that the restaurant I don't like originated in Tomakomai? I feel like I'm getting hives... There was one customer before us, and two more after. We sat at the counter. The raised seating area is quite spacious. Did they have a pillow fight or something in the spacious raised area? The cushions are laid out very randomly. There's a young guy and an older lady working here. Even when you talk to the young guy, the ventriloquist lady responds. It's quite a comedic duo. And even though this is a ramen restaurant for finishing off the night, it's non-smoking. This is fantastic. I'll give the "accomplished owner" a high rating. I asked the young guy, "Aren't there any people who complain or say they'll leave because it's non-smoking?" And he replied, "There aren't any." The ventriloquist chimed in without fail. I know they do this on purpose, so I'm playing along. It's fun. I highly recommend the Curry Ramen here, just like Yome-san. I was debating between the "Salt Ramen" and the recommended "Beef Tendon Soy Ramen," but I went with the latter. The beer comes in bottles, and they have ice in the glass, so you can pour one regular glass, but the second one can only be foam. What's going on? Is it really that dirty? Did it take about 7 minutes? The "Curry Ramen" is quite thick. I like the color, and when you taste it, it starts with sweetness and then the spiciness kicks in. It comes on pretty strong. It's quite spicy, at least by my standards. I'm the kind of person who can eat Indian food's "very spicy" level, so I'm not someone with a completely dead tongue. It's just for fun, so no need to react to this. Yome-san was bothered by something grainy. She said, "Maybe it's grated apple?" I didn't feel it, but maybe the sweetness comes from apples? She also said, "It's spicy and delicious." The "Beef Tendon Soy Ramen" has a lot of beef tendon on it. I thought this ramen was expensive, but it's not that expensive after all. But I yelled in my mind, "Cut the price by 50 yen because half of the beef tendon is enough!" But in my heart, I know beef tendon is delicious. I can't eat just half. The noodles are Sapporo-style high-hydration noodles, and they're delicious. Maybe they're a bit too soft? I don't need wakame seaweed. But there are no weird bean sprouts, so that's good. Speaking of which, I had Curry Ramen with bean sprouts at a different restaurant the other day, and it was delicious. Maybe it's just that one restaurant that's not good. Does it cling together? It sticks together all the way, so please stick with me. There's only chashu in the Curry Ramen here. Well, with so much beef tendon on top, that's how it is. The soup is full of umami and richness. It's a very delicious ramen. Yome-san said, "The Beef Tendon Ramen was even better." To have non-smoking even at the end of the meal, I think that's the right attitude. If you're confident, that's all that matters. If you get annoyed and send a breeze with the menu to the person smoking next to you, that's what I think of as an old man...
