"Craftsman's Plate: All-You-Can-Eat BBQ for 2 Hours. Men: ¥3,278, Women: ¥3,058, Elementary School Students: ¥1,529. Ah, I've been craving charcoal-grilled BBQ! So, I headed to Yakiniku Maichan, located along Route 3. It's quite popular, so I recommend making a reservation in advance. They open early at 5 PM! They start you off with a platter of assorted meats and a raw ham salad. Unlike my previous experience where the charcoal piled up and burnt too quickly, this time, the charcoal heat was just right. They even replaced the grill halfway through. The menu has a variety of marbled meats, and the meat quality is quite robust. Among them, the 'popular Galbi' was delicious even when cut thick. For thinly sliced meat, you fold it into thirds and cook it slowly on the grill to make it juicy. When grilling the innards, be cautious as the oil drips and can ignite the charcoal. Cooking them in small portions at a time seems to prevent any major flare-ups. What I like here is that you can choose from various condiments to create your own sauce, so you can enjoy the grilled meat with your preferred flavor. On the table, you'll find condiments like Kochujang, wasabi, sesame oil, garlic, and grated radish, among others. This time, I mixed sesame oil with salt, the slightly spicy BBQ sauce, and ponzu, among a few others, to match each type of meat. It's delicious and fun! You can also enjoy plenty of vegetables like lettuce and Caesar salad. They have incredibly juicy sausages here, so kids might get addicted. There are many families dining here, and they offer both raised seating, counter seats, and regular tables. You can help yourself to rice and other side dishes. I might come back here when I crave charcoal-grilled BBQ again."
