3G Lunch Series... Subtitle: "Avoiding the Three Cs." Please use this as a reference for selecting a restaurant to avoid the three Cs (closed spaces, crowded places, close-contact settings) around Honmachi Station. Today, on the second day of the tense state of emergency, it's quite a challenge to find a lunch spot without the right conditions... So, I cautiously chose to visit HARU Honmachi, which has partitions and spacious table spacing. About 60% of the seats were occupied, but thanks to the wide spacing and dividers, I could avoid the three Cs. The only downside here is that smoking is prohibited. The staff were all wearing masks to ensure safety.

Being a shabu-shabu restaurant, ventilation was excellent, and I enjoyed my lunch in a clean atmosphere. The menu... The daily lunch set for 850 yen with pork cutlet was sold out, so I ordered the pork fillet cutlet set for 1,000 yen!!! You can choose from three types of sauces: Osaka Hermes sauce, grated radish and cutlet broth, or tamago ponzu. I chose the Osaka Hermes sauce...
Osaka Hermes sauce is produced in Higashi Sumiyoshi Ward, Osaka. It was founded in Showa 10 (1935) by the founder, Kazuo Sakai, who registered it as a trademark under the name "HERMES Hermes Sauce." The name comes from the messenger of the gods in Greek mythology and was named by the god of commerce. The TRADE MARK is the staff of Hermes, "Caduceus." It is handmade in all aspects, and the taste passed down through generations is now protected by Kazuo Sakai as the person in charge. "Hermes Sauce" is made by simmering selected vegetables, fruits, sugar, salt, and other seasonings. The key to its flavor is the original blend of over ten kinds of <spices> that enhance the taste of carefully selected ingredients. In okonomiyaki and yakisoba, the gentle aroma spreads over the teppan (griddle). Please enjoy the nostalgic taste of "Hermes Sauce."
I received my order in about 10 minutes... It was moderately pink, and the remaining part was cooked just right. The pork had no unpleasant taste and was straightforward. The slightly sweet sauce complemented it well... I enjoyed it crisply and quickly left the restaurant. It was delicious. Thank you!
