"Darling and Tobo Hachi outside the city. It's the first time the two of us have come alone. In the past, Tobo Hachi in Kurayama was famous for its giant shrimp fry, just like in Nagoya, but gradually the shrimp stopped being included, and the menu disappeared, and the owner passed away. Nevertheless, this restaurant remains lively in this town. It's essential to have private rooms as many families come here, and they also have TVs. They adopted this style quite early. I used to drink freshly squeezed grapefruit juice here quite often. There were even kids drinking Pink Shower. Even though Masayan and I usually only drink beer at Tobo in Oakla Building, we both went for sour drinks this time. The ordering system here is also on tablets, just like at Oakla. When I used to live in Minami Ward, I thought Tobo was tastier than Sapporo back in the day, but now I think King of Tobo is the one in the kitchen at the Oakla branch because the chef there is really skilled. They also offer all-you-can-drink. Of course, each local branch has its own unique menu, and that's undeniable. Both of us were craving ramen since spring, but we kept missing out, so we found ramen in a clay pot and had it. It was delicious, and it was filling with no complaints. We left satisfied. It's nice once in a while."
