"Instagram follow for a 200 yen discount is over...⤵︎ This is Curry Kitchen SPICE POT in the Kotoenishi area of Nishi Ward, Sapporo. They have a clean interior with two beautiful female staff members, and they play FM radio as background music. There's convenient parking affiliated with nearby banks, and you can also use it in conjunction with the Ion Kotoenishi store. The roast chicken and vegetable curry rice in a regular portion with a spice level of 5 were served surprisingly quickly, indicating that some of the preparation had already been done. Perhaps the time I came, just past lunchtime, resulted in faster service than usual? The cast iron pot with soup curry is scalding hot, so handle with care. The vegetables are well-cooked, except for the potatoes, which could have been cooked a bit more. The turmeric rice has the right texture, but the rice itself could be better. It has a hint of acidity but is not very spicy, and I felt that a spiciness level higher than 5 might be even better. As you continue to sip the soup, you'll gradually appreciate the richness and spiciness of the soup curry, and your heart will be swayed by the swirl of umami mingling with the spices. The soup is delicious, and I even felt like I could have drunk more. I found the flavor of the soup curry at Curry Kitchen SPICE POT quite appealing. The chicken, recommended as the restaurant's specialty, is roasted with a slightly sweet and salty seasoning, but personally, I think it would be better with less sweetness. Perhaps the crispy chicken or the normal one might be more to my liking. Since the spiciness wasn't enough for me this time, I plan to order it with a higher spice level, around 100, based on the main store's data.
