"Smile Sensei uploaded a video, so I hurriedly skipped through the review. Please don't ask why I rushed; I don't even know myself (sweat). I left Sapporo early in the morning. The plan was to leave at 6:00, but I finished preparing quickly and left a little after 5:00. I had to go to Noboribetsu for work, but since it was a weekday, I didn't want to waste money on the expressway, so I decided to take the local roads, which seemed just right. I was making good progress, so it looks like I'll arrive quite early. I thought about grabbing something to eat... While thinking about it, even though I usually skip breakfast, I kept driving. I passed Tomakomai at 6:40 AM. I spotted a bento shop on the right. Even though I ignored it when I saw it on the left earlier, now I did a U-turn because I suddenly felt a bit hungry. They open at 6:00. When I entered the shop, no one came out, so I took photos of the available bentos while I waited. I ordered the "mixed rice bento." Now, where should I eat it? I wondered as I drove. If I drive too much, the bento will cool down, but at this hour, I can park almost anywhere. So, I parked in a spot like this... Now, let's have breakfast in the car. This is the first time I've done something like this. The warm mixed rice doesn't have a strong flavor, but it's very delicious. The meatballs were cold and a bit disappointing. The kabocha (pumpkin) tempura is reasonably tasty, so should I save it for Hakodate? The fish fry is warm and delicious. I'm a soy sauce person, so I pour some on, but there's shredded cabbage underneath, the arch-enemy of fried food... I was worried, 'Won't it get soggy?!' but it seems my concerns were unfounded. The cabbage remained dry... I didn't eat the pickles. I think this is the first time I've ever bought a bento like this. I used to avoid it, but it's surprisingly delicious."
