(2021/05/22 Update) ※ This is an old article, but I wanted to convey something important, so I have temporarily unpublished it and reposted it. I will provide the details in the section below, so feel free to skip if you're not interested. Visit Date: Around 3:00 PM on July 4, 2020. After shopping for clothes and taking a break, I decided to have dessert at the restaurant "Amami to Kamameshi Azabu Tea House Sapporo Tokyu Store." The interior of the restaurant was bustling with various customers, including the owner and solo diners. This time, I ordered the "Shaved Ice Blue Lychee (¥880)," which I had been wanting to try since my last visit. The order arrived in about 5 minutes. The shaved ice, topped with Blue Hawaii syrup, was elegantly garnished with fruits, vanilla ice cream, and lychee. This is definitely delicious! The Blue Hawaii syrup and a variety of fruits (pineapple, cherries, peaches, etc.) enhance the sweetness, making it a delightful treat. You can also change the taste with honey, so it's recommended for those who love sweet treats! Enjoying the cool vanilla ice cream with syrup is also quite appealing. "Azabu Tea House" offers a wide range of meal options, but they also have a rich dessert menu, so you can casually enter the restaurant just for desserts, like a cafe. Shaved ice is likely only available during the summer season, so if you want to try it, go early! Thank you for the meal. (2020/8/8 Update) I have added a photo of the sample menu's Kamameshi. It's something unique that you can't experience at other Azabu Tea House locations, so I hope this information can be of help. (2021/05/22 Update) This is unrelated, but regarding the "secret place with minimal overcrowding" I mentioned at "Ya***ya" before, the actual location is the rooftop game corner at "Sapporo Tokyu Department Store," where the restaurant I reviewed is situated. I used to play an older version of the game there, which is installed in few locations nationwide, and it was convenient for killing time before going to the restaurant. However, it closed down on May 9, 2021. The rooftop amusement parks were already declining, so it may not have been related, but it's still unfortunate. To be honest, wasn't that declaration a mess? Trying to push through with the Olympics in that situation... I think it's understandable for people to say things like "bullying restaurants" or "making things worse with ineffective shortening of hours and declarations." I'm not in a position to speak, as I used to travel to Sapporo about once a month until March, but there are indeed shortcomings in the government's measures. I still have more to say, but I'll leave it here. I apologize if this makes anyone uncomfortable. There are other stores within Tokyu Department Store that I'm interested in, so I may visit again in the future, but the frequency may decrease compared to before. It's unrelated to restaurants, but I'll attach a photo of the arcade cabinet that I last used. Thank you for the many memories.
