"Ume-ya is there, right?" So, I thought it was Ume-ya, and I said it three times... Youme-san said, "It's Ume-ya," after a while, and I realized it, so I said, "In Tsuboya, right?" and she said, "Yeah, it's Tsuboya," with a face like, "Well, of course, right?" No matter what I said after that, it seemed pointless. This time, our trip was to Asahikawa, just the two of us. We ate a lot, drank a lot, and now we're heading back. In the end, we went near Asahiyama Zoo and had gelato to finish it off. That was the plan, but... there were no specific places we were aiming for. I'm disappointed, but Youme-san says, "There's a little tea shop in the nearby Co-op Sapporo. You can get soft-serve ice cream there, right?" I asked, "Really?" and we went there right away, but it turned out they didn't have it either. There's no time to be disappointed. It's okay. Instead, I have Lifubon... Next, we found "Tsuboya." It's Tsuboya, not Ume-ya. They have red bean mochi and grass mochi, right? Red bean mochi is more expensive, right? I ran out of change, so I left it to Youme-san. She looked at me and said, "What did you say?" Tsuboya's mochi should be something you've eaten before, but I don't remember. It's a small round shape. I've never made one before when I was little. It's something only selected people can do. The mochi is soft, and the texture is just right. The beans have a firm texture and a gentle sweetness. As for grass mochi... the grass flavor isn't very strong. If you make it for everyone, it might turn out like this. I prefer a stronger grass flavor, but it's still delicious. In the end, Tsuboya makes delicious mochi.
