"2011.12 Submission" In August, during the summer vacation, my American friends and their family visited Kyoto. After going to the revolving sushi restaurant at the Hakodate Ichijyo Market with my friends' children, we came to the "Mr. Donut AEON Rakunan Shop" in response to the kids' request. Overall: 3.5 Food & Taste: 3.5 There were plenty of varieties on the display shelves, and they were constantly being replenished. They were neatly arranged, and we ended up taking more than we should have. The kids were also delighted. As a fan of Mister Donut, I was slightly biased, so my rating is higher. Service: 4.0 The staff at this time used kind words with the children and the way they served impressed me. The American kids said that Japanese people are polite and kind. I don't know if everyone is always like this, but this time it was good, and I hope it's always like this. Atmosphere: 3.5 Being inside a shopping mall, there were a lot of customers, and it was lively. It was quite different from the previous shop we visited. Many customers had children with them, and everyone seemed to be having fun, creating a good atmosphere. Value for Money: 3.0 It's neither expensive nor cheap, which is the usual feeling for Mister Donut – reasonably priced. Now, here's the review of "Mr. Donut AEON Rakunan Shop" as I felt it at that time. After indulging in revolving sushi, was it time for sweets? For me, it felt a bit heavy. The American kids seemed to have a round image of donuts, showed interest in the bear-shaped donuts, and seemed happy when they saw their cuteness. But then, they took a big bite from the head and laughed! It was quite funky. Thinking about it, my kids at home are quite refined... or maybe they have small appetites? They eat it while tearing it apart... Enjoying such cultural differences, I had an Old Fashioned donut while sipping on the refillable coffee. As always, it was delicious. It's been a while since I had Mister Donut, and it's been a while since I had an Old Fashioned donut. In my younger days, I often had this combination for meetings. While eating, I "suddenly" remembered old times and enjoyed the kids' gestures today. It made me reminisce about my younger days. Thanks to Mister Donut, this busy period of my life became a brief moment of relaxation."
