Brasserie Oppidan has five locations in Tokyo: Kioicho (opened in January 2004), Ginza (opened in March 2006), Takanawa (opened in March 2008), Harajuku (opened in June 2020), and Yaesu (opened in August 2021). The restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere with a glass facade on the 3rd floor, providing a great view of the Meiji Shrine's forest. There are also terrace seats available. Facing the Meiji Shrine's forest, there are terrace seats, and inside, there are tables. The total seating capacity is 119, making it quite spacious. During my visit at 3:37 PM, the restaurant was already full, with a line of three groups totaling seven people waiting. They use a system where you don't need to stand in line as your name is listed at the entrance. I was seated at a glass table with a view of the Meiji Shrine's forest at 3:48 PM, 11 minutes later. The line continued without interruption even after my seating. The clientele consisted of 90% women and 10% men. The service was efficiently handled by two female staff members. The menu includes ◆ Desserts: French Toast Royale (¥1,200 incl. tax), Soufflé (¥850 incl. tax), Crêpe Suzette (¥1,000 incl. tax), Berry Crêpe (¥1,100 incl. tax), Crème Brûlée (¥700 incl. tax), Strawberry Millefeuille (¥650 incl. tax), Caramel Fondant Chocolat (¥700 incl. tax), Opera Cake (¥600 incl. tax), Almond Praline Éclair (¥600 incl. tax), and Lemon Tart (¥600 incl. tax). I ordered the Strawberry Millefeuille for ¥650. It was served 10 minutes after placing the order. The dessert, Strawberry Millefeuille, consists of strawberries layered on top of pastry, filled with custard cream, and sandwiched between layers of pastry. The rich custard and the sweet-tartness of strawberries, along with the crispy pastry, combine to create a delicious treat. The restaurant, with its glass facade on the 3rd floor facing the Meiji Shrine's forest, provides a pleasant atmosphere. Payment options include electronic money from transportation systems and credit cards. The Strawberry Millefeuille for ¥650 was delicious, with the rich custard, sweet-tart strawberries, and crispy pastry all coming together beautifully.
