"Komeda Coffee Shop has reached 1,000 stores, and they are running the '1,000 Queue Campaign.' The fourth installment of this campaign offers an extra morning bread for free! I went just in time before it ends on September 10th to the Komeda Coffee Shop in front of Asakusabashi Station. This branch is located on the second floor of a building right in front of Asakusabashi Station's east exit. Komeda Coffee Shop has a retro vibe despite being new. When you look up, there are cute lights.
The main purpose this time is this! You can get an additional morning bread for free. It's great that you can choose the same or a different one. Even just this extra bread makes the morning special. For my drink, I ordered the 'Komeda Blend (Choose your morning)' for 540 yen. I chose jam for the toast and opted for a loaf bread with butter and a boiled egg. It's my first time trying the jam (usually, I choose butter), the loaf bread (usually, I choose mountain bread), and even the boiled egg (I usually choose sweet red bean paste). It's all new experiences.
The Komeda Blend has a strong bitterness but is still easy to drink. Komeda's logo is undeniably cute. I added coffee fresh and sugar midway through, which is recommended by the shop. Thick-cut toast is delightful, with a crispy exterior and a soft, chewy interior. The strawberry jam is quite sweet and has the texture of Shiro Noir's Danish bread. It's fluffy and light. The boiled egg was piping hot! The next campaign offers one free refill. It makes me want to visit again."
