3655 Keio Line adjacent to Chofu Station, there is a cafe attached to Seijo Ishii, a somewhat overpriced supermarket in Keio's commercial facility, TriA Building 1F2. I don't really care about Seijo Ishii or anything like that (-_-;) But today, I'll be clear - I've never once found the ready-made dishes or other food I bought at Seijo Ishii in the past to be delicious. They all look incredibly delicious on the display, but when you actually taste them, every single one was a disappointment and a bad value for money purchase. So, with no expectations, I happened to enter this place at this time because my companion, an older guy, declared, "I want to eat parfait." Uji Matcha Soft Serve Parfait, 399 yen. Well, considering the price... forgive me, okay? It's likely someone will say that, but yeah. The topmost layer is matcha soft serve, but I wonder which manufacturer's product they're using for this? It doesn't have the rich aroma that you'd expect from matcha at all; it tastes like a cheap matcha ice cream you'd find in a convenience store freezer. Below that, there are shiratama dumplings, black bean-flavored jelly, and black beans. And at the very bottom, there's something strange that looks like crushed cornflakes. By the way, the black beans were good. Well, not good per se, but they were the only safe-tasting part. I won't be coming back for sure.
