<8.28-9.23 Bar Yuunagi's Small Solo Exhibition>
8.12, after returning from Nasu Shiobara, dinner story. Since many restaurants were closed during the Obon holiday, I turned to Mr. Ito, the reliable 24/7 place I've been going to since I moved. It was an awkward time, just before 17:00, but there was one person at the counter and one table occupied by other customers. It's convenient for those aiming for continuous operation. This time, I wanted to try cold ramen for the first time. I was worried because they stop serving it once the soup runs out, but I confirmed that there was no "sold out" sign on the ticket machine, so I ordered a large portion. It felt like being at an arena in front of the boiling pots. While waiting, a bowl appeared from behind the counter. It had one piece of ice and looked refreshing. Since it was cold, the scent of dried fish was subtle, and the taste was much milder compared to when I had it for the first time four and a half years ago. It wasn't too cold, so it smoothly filled my body. The contrast with the bumpy homemade noodles was excellent, and I thought this combination, which I had a good feeling about, was even better than expected. It was a gourmet dish I wanted at that moment, considering the weather and my condition, and it scored full marks. I'm usually not a soup drinker, but I couldn't stop myself. Mr. Hachigo, Kagari, Mugi-Ori, and Mr. Ito, you saved me from the financial difficulties of moving with this memorable ramen shop. I've revisited it in a short period after a long time. It was a fulfilling three-day weekend with such experiences. Thank you. I've ordered prints for my solo exhibition at Bistro Vivienne at Create Ginza. The same format as Yuunagi, with acrylic finishing so it can be displayed without a frame. I provided them with JPEG files instead of raw ones, and they made slight adjustments on the spot, test printing, checking, and it's done. I'm looking forward to Yuunagi's solo exhibition, but what's ahead is getting more interesting. Of course, the bar is set higher than before, so there's no guarantee it will happen, not even by a millimeter, but being able to imagine it is the most significant thing. Through my small solo exhibitions every month, I would be happy if you could experience the process. Where will I go tomorrow? ==========
